Plenty of time between now and Nov 6th to officially act and act and act again with absolute immunity to remove existential threats to American security and democracy as the now SCOTUS endorsed Imperial Presidency deems, wishes and/or blithely unconcernedly utters while being driven in a golf cart to the next tee deck.

I don't think anyone is saying it WAS staged, but it's always a possibility. That isn't victim blaming, it's politics.

According to Secret Service spoksman, Anthony Guglielmi, Trump "is safe" after "an incident occurred" at the Pennsylvania rally.
Trump spokesman Steven Cheung said that Trump is "fine and is being checked out at a local medical facility," adding that Trump "thanks law enforcement and first responders for their quick action during this heinous act."

The odds of violence by Trump supporters has just gone up significantly and unfortunately, Trump and the others who support him are not the kind who are likely to try and tamp down the violence.
I would love to be proven wrong here, but everyone should be very worried.
I was going to predict that no responsible Dem "will do a Paul Pelosi" and mock Trump. But fox world will do a tucker Carlson, find some obscure irrelevant person leaning left and then blow it up as "the left" and argue how the entire left is in favor of this. On cue, our friend firehose Mitch has done so already. Had to reach down and find an obscure Canadian.

So late to the party. I was catching 5 lbs bass during the attempt. As a side note - yesterday was my best bass fishing day in my fishing career.
