That just might be the case. lol. I guess we'll see how many of his voters have buyers remorse come 2026...
That is totally the wrong way to view what happened
Some inward reflection on your failed ideology is required

You are counting on Trump failing and failing miserably
He might not and then pass the presidents role onto a different republican you hate and despise

layer that on top of the bashing the loonies are going to experience north of the boarder.
you should get a blood pressure monitor

Way to put words in my mouth. That is not what I said at all, nor close to what I wrote, but thank you for proving that reading comprehension is not your strongest suit. You know what is funny, when you slam the so-called elites when you are being led by billionaires and tech bros. How are they not the elite?

I could talk for a long time about his (lack) of character. The many proudly talks about stiffing workers OT pay, or screwing contractors, causing many to lose thousands of dollars. He cheated on his taxes and defrauded a charity. I see many wealthy people who don't do that.

This is laughable. He always says he hires the best people. Well, if that is the case, how come so many of them went to jail or outright called him out for being an idiot or fascist? Only cult members would ignore these actions and think he's smart of a good leader. Again, you prove the point that critical thinking is not your strongest suit.

As a Canadian, I would be on the sidelines regardless of who took power. However, since the GOP now controls the house, senate and executive branch, they have a mandate to do what they want. I do hope he is successful in some aspects, but the reality is, if he imposes half of what he promised on the campaign trail (like tariffs and mass deportations), the US economy is going to be royally fucked....as would the Canadian economy. You have repeatedly proven critical thinking is not your forte, so, I'll explain quickly what this could do. Tariffs will increase prices on imported goods, which will be paid by US companies and passed down to consumers. That will cause prices to soar and make the covid inflation look like a moderate rise in prices. Mass deportation will cost billions of dollars while removing a vital cog in the US economy. Who do you think picks vegetables on farms? Who do you think does a lot of the basic construction work? Who do you think works in dangerous slaughter houses? So, again, we'll see prices surge because farmers will need to raise wages to get labour, which will be passed on to the consumer....

Why? It is good question. Trump played on many people's fears, and helped them ignore the fact that the US economy has been one of the best over the past four years (record job creation, higher wages, etc. ). But....this article does raise some interesting questions:

Why would that be a trending search? Did people realize they might have made a mistake? Again, we shall see....
I didn't put words in your mouth:
" Your love of Trump has made you blind to not only his flaws and obvious lies, but to also to the better qualities of virtually everyone else."
Who were you referring to by suggesting "everyone else" in the context you made that remark?

He's never cheated on his taxes. He's never defrauded a charity. Seems to me you've been sucked in by misleading headlines. I can't help you with that if that's your source of "truth".

He hires who he believes will do the best job. Just like in any company. You need to believe they will be the best when you hire them otherwise why are you hiring them? Again, you are basing your feelings on headline spin.

So millions and millions of people voted for him based on fear? hahaha that's funny.

How about millions of people were fed up with the Democrats in many ways and seeing as Trump was already tested as President for a term, they had something to compare. They decided the past 4 years were not as good as the previous 4 years.
Dems had their chance, they fucked it up with their woke policies and people had enough.

Tariffs he is imposing are a deterrent for countries like China to keep the fatal drug trade continue as an example.
Tariffs on select...I'll say it again...select imported goods will foster more domestic goods/production and/or discounts on foreign producers to adjust their pricing to remain competitive.

Why do you support people entering a country and working there illegally and bypassing laws and processes that other people are abiding by?
Why do you think that every person in the country illegally will automatically get deported rather than being guided to go through the proper processes as everyone should do?
Why do you think that the focus won't be on actual criminals like gang members who are in the country illegally?

Based on everything you have attempted to say to justify your position, it's clear that you just don't like him...and then you find things to justify your hatred.

If you just don't like him then just say that rather than trying to peddle misinformation to justify your beliefs as a "tolerant liberal".

Trump has made history as the man who won his presidential
elections only when his opponents were women.
I still can’t believe that Dems were dumb enough to run women against the biggest POS ever running.
like do your fucking experiments when the other guy is a bit more normal and losing is not as significant. Then run a trans dwarf for all I care.

careful
  1. do not give the DNC any ideas
  2. you might get cancelled by the cross dressing midget community
Now I await the backlash from the lonnies for being insensitive in the pursuit of a good chuckle

A dwarf is an extremely short adult who is less than 58 inches tall. The word midget is considered derogatory and offensive.
not to worry I have been a big fan ever since I first saw the wizard of Oz

if a dwarf finds a place to live that does not charge rent, can he call his home a Stay Free Mini Pad

Are you accusing him of being a women beater.
Trump is more like King David the giant slayer.
His opponents in both elections were female
Goliath backed and cheered by the establishment
and the woke crowd. And Goliath Kamala garnered
more support from the affluent crowd who gave her
1 billion to squander. Trump received maybe only
half as much from the poor.

you seem to not be aware of the fact that the electorate rejected Biden/ Harris
if Biden got slammed throughout his term , it was because he was doing a shitty job

The inflation reduction act was suppose to reduce inflation via ..... increased gov spending ???
That is akin to using a fire extinguisher filled with gasoline
A completely stupid, disingenuous and intentionally misleading act.
pretty dis-respectful to the electorate as well

I have some empathy for Biden because his health is deteriorating and losing your faculties is not something i would wish on anyone.
But he was a shitty manager surrounded by a party of ideologue fools., he was too weak to reign in.

The democrats lost to a mean spirited, nasty vindictive Donald Trump
talk about hitting rock bottom

rather than taking such a crushing defeat as an opportunity to re-evaluate their failed positioning / ideology, your lot are just going to entrench themselves further.
I love playing Johnny Boy bingo. How quickly can he get to failed ideology (or its variants). Disappointed that it was the last sentence. But, again he seems to not recognize that despite his fits of verbal diarrhea, he missed the point that inflation is down significantly compared to before the inflation reduction act.

But, at the same time, he thinks that us saying that voters will likely join the leopard ate my face party in the coming years is "dis-respectful [sic] to the electorate as well..." when the right has spent the past four years crying like little bitches that the 2020 election was rigged/stolen. As if 81 million Americans thought Trump was a fuckin loser back then.

But, thanks for playing along, Johnny.

Now, if we really want to look at a failed ideology, let's examine the GOP playbook for the last 45 years. Tax cuts for the rich, poverty for the rest. No trickle down economic growth, the rich got richer and the disparity in wealth grew at a tremendous rate. Jobs were off-shored in masses, and spending was cut back on important things, like infrastructure. We can just look at Kansas as a case study to see how truly failed the GOP/conservative ideology is:

But, of course we'll see Trump do his usual tax cuts for the rich, fuck all for the workers.

I guess we'll see what happens Johnny boy. This time the failed ideology is in the second sentence, for those of you playing at home...

But, it does seem that America is most prosperous when the Dems lead. At least, it has been for the past 35 years or so. The GOP keeps pushing things into the ditch...

" Your love of Trump has made you blind to not only his flaws and obvious lies, but to also to the better qualities of virtually everyone else."
Who were you referring to by suggesting "everyone else" in the context you made that remark?
So many errors and bullshit.

First, I don't see how you made the jump to all voters there. I meant that you think Trump is great, but ignore anything good in those who oppose him. Like, you have to pretend that Harris is inferior or stupid, when she is clearly not. I don't know if you believe these things because she doesn't have a penis, or she isn't white, but if you take Trump's word, you really should remember he lies about virtually everything.

So....maybe I was incorrect about defrauding a charity. But, stealing from it sounds pretty fucking bad...

And, here is the organization he ran being convicted of tax fraud:

So, you can try to pretend he is the most ethical person in existence, but we all know that isn't true. Stop trying to gas light people. There is tons of proof about how unethical and shady he is as a businessman.

I partly agree with this. The Dems did not do a good job selling Harris and their record. It doesn't matter that they created a very strong economy with record job growth, while passing vital legislation like the infrastructure bill or the CHIPS act, not were able to contain inflation better than almost all G7 countries. But, sometimes perception is the reality, and Trump and Vance had no qualms about misrepresenting statistics or just outright lying. And, I am 100% sure that Trump will claim credit for all the success that results from Biden's term. Just wait until January 23, he'll be happily talking about how the S&P hit a new high (if it happens)...
Tariffs he is imposing are a deterrent for countries like China to keep the fatal drug trade continue as an example.
Tariffs on select...I'll say it again...select imported goods will foster more domestic goods/production and/or discounts on foreign producers to adjust their pricing to remain competitive.
Trump has said he would impose tariffs on nearly all imported goods. Now, selective tariffs can be a good thing to help protect domestic manufacturers/industries. But, the way Trump wants to do it is a no-win situation for the American consumer. Over the past 40 years, so much industrial production was shipped to China/India/Asia. So, today, so much of our clothing and electronics are manufactured overseas, as are many food items. So, tariffs do no hurt the exporter for the most part, they still get paid. It is the consumer who sees these prices passed on to them. So, this will hurt the poor and middle class significantly more than the wealthy. And, you can pretend it might work in stopping China from exporting drugs to the US, but there are no guarantees, nor is it necessarily possible for China to do so.

Ummmm...I, nor has any Democrat said they want open borders. That is a GOP buzz word/propaganda. But, like most things the right like to gloss over, the reality is not black and white. Those illegal immigrants do jobs most Americans/Canadians do not want to do. Hard labour, like picking fruit in the hot summer sun. Working in dangerous environments like slaughter houses. And, they probably get paid peanuts compared to what American workers make. BUT....ask yourself this question: how many factory owners/farmers are Democrats? How many are GOP? Do you think they are not aware that a significant portion of their workforce are not American citizens? And do you think they care? Again, they pay them shit, get them to do the work nobody else wants to, and they probably don't pay into social security or what not.
Now, why do I think every illegal would be automatically deported? Because Trump and Miller have said that was the plan. There is no talk about "guiding" them to the proper process. It would be great to get rid of the violent ones first, but if you think they will employ surgical precision instead of blunt attacks, you really drank the Kool-Aid.

Based on everything you have attempted to say to justify your position, it's clear that you just don't like him...and then you find things to justify your hatred.

If you just don't like him then just say that rather than trying to peddle misinformation to justify your beliefs as a "tolerant liberal".
I'll admit, I do not like Donald Trump. He is a liar, a sexual predator, a failed businessman, and a wanna be dictator. I don't have to "find" anything, because he is not hiding this bullshit. He actually takes some pride in this crap. However, I have provided evidence to show that I am not the one who is trying to "peddle misinformation," nor am I the one so deep into the cult that I cannot see the consequences of what he wants to do. His policies did not "Make America Great" in his first term, which a vast majority of historians called one of the worst presidential terms ever. And, considering who he is planning to appoint to his cabinet, I do not see him doing much better this term, at least for the majority of Americans.

But Biden/Harris bulldozed things off a cliff...
Oh, did they? I see factual reports that sort of poke MASSIVE holes into your theories:

Employment continues to grow at a very strong pace, despite the impact of hurricanes and strikes:

The economy is growing faster than expected:

Consumer spending is strong:

Wages continue to rise:

While inflation is close to its target rate:

So, while not everything is perfect, to pretend that the Biden/Harris economy is not performing well is a classic case of right wing blindness. If Trump had these number when he was president, you would be screaming it from the roof tops. But, hey, I understand, your hatred of the Dems blinds you from anything good that they do. You are a hyper partisan. I get it...
