Your love of Trump has made you blind to not only his flaws and obvious lies, but to also to the better qualities of virtually everyone else.

Trump is worth a billion, now. He wasn't for a very long time, and lied like a dog for decades. He is not a successful businessman, and if you don't realize that, you are a prime target for scams....Results will speak volumes in the next couple of years. Will Trump take Biden's booming economy and crash it into the ground with high inflation and stupid policies? We shall see. And, let's not forget that virtually everyone who worked with him, from Rex Tillerson to John Kelly, said Trump was an idiot. So, I don't know why you believe the hype. Maybe you are one as well.
You think half the voting public doesn't have "better qualities"...like millions of people? It's that elitist attitude that contributed to the left losing the plot.
Almost every successful and wealthy person has gone through periods of fluctuating wealth, some have even gone bankrupt along the way. You tried to equate Trump's wealth record with his character and failed miserably at it.

In every organization, leaders hire and fire. Sometimes people like the leadership and sometimes they don't. Sometimes people change along the way. That's how the world works. You tried to equate Trump's co-workers with his character and failed miserably at it again.

And it sounds like you have a lot in common with the left's attitude at the moment having been obliterated in the election: that would be "We shall see"....

That's really all you have at the moment....watching from the sidelines and hoping he'll fail rather than hoping he'll succeed. Wishful sabotage perhaps? I don't know...and I really don't care.

What you should be asking yourself is why the majority of the voting public, millions and millions of people across an entire country support him? 75+ million people. More people than any country in Europe (aside from Russia, Turkey, and Germany), and almost twice as many people than the population of Canada.
They can't all be "stupid" like the left suggests. But it wouldn't surprise me if you thought that as your excuse to justify his support.

It's the smug and elitist liberal way of thinking I guess. Pity.

Nah...c'mon...no democrat wanted to work with Trump. They were always so salty about his win...you just can't see it with your TDS...it seems to affect vision as well...
You are so deep into the cult that everything negative about Trump (and there is a lot) is always boiled down to TDS instead of being an opportunity to think critically and realize what is actually happening. Trump never engaged with the Dems. Biden frequently did with the GOP to get shit passed. That is how you govern. I can promise you that if Trump actually worked on a deal that gave the Dems something they wanted, they would work with him.

But, let's look at the current house of representatives. They are the most dysfunctional and useless congress in many generations. They passed so few bills, ate their own speaker, and couldn't get their shit together. Anything that was passed required the Dems to support it.

Finally, recall that Trump thinks of himself as a deal maker. He had a (ghostwritten) book called the Art of the Deal. Now, we know it is bullshit, but he never tried to make deals with the opposition party. That is a fact.

You think half the voting public doesn't have "better qualities"...like millions of people? It's that elitist attitude that contributed to the left losing the plot.
Way to put words in my mouth. That is not what I said at all, nor close to what I wrote, but thank you for proving that reading comprehension is not your strongest suit. You know what is funny, when you slam the so-called elites when you are being led by billionaires and tech bros. How are they not the elite?

Almost every successful and wealthy person has gone through periods of fluctuating wealth, some have even gone bankrupt along the way. You tried to equate Trump's wealth record with his character and failed miserably at it.
I could talk for a long time about his (lack) of character. The many proudly talks about stiffing workers OT pay, or screwing contractors, causing many to lose thousands of dollars. He cheated on his taxes and defrauded a charity. I see many wealthy people who don't do that.
In every organization, leaders hire and fire. Sometimes people like the leadership and sometimes they don't. Sometimes people change along the way. That's how the world works. You tried to equate Trump's co-workers with his character and failed miserably at it again.
This is laughable. He always says he hires the best people. Well, if that is the case, how come so many of them went to jail or outright called him out for being an idiot or fascist? Only cult members would ignore these actions and think he's smart of a good leader. Again, you prove the point that critical thinking is not your strongest suit.

As a Canadian, I would be on the sidelines regardless of who took power. However, since the GOP now controls the house, senate and executive branch, they have a mandate to do what they want. I do hope he is successful in some aspects, but the reality is, if he imposes half of what he promised on the campaign trail (like tariffs and mass deportations), the US economy is going to be royally fucked....as would the Canadian economy. You have repeatedly proven critical thinking is not your forte, so, I'll explain quickly what this could do. Tariffs will increase prices on imported goods, which will be paid by US companies and passed down to consumers. That will cause prices to soar and make the covid inflation look like a moderate rise in prices. Mass deportation will cost billions of dollars while removing a vital cog in the US economy. Who do you think picks vegetables on farms? Who do you think does a lot of the basic construction work? Who do you think works in dangerous slaughter houses? So, again, we'll see prices surge because farmers will need to raise wages to get labour, which will be passed on to the consumer....

Why? It is good question. Trump played on many people's fears, and helped them ignore the fact that the US economy has been one of the best over the past four years (record job creation, higher wages, etc. ). But....this article does raise some interesting questions:

Why would that be a trending search? Did people realize they might have made a mistake? Again, we shall see....

Dear god, you are delusional and very myopic. Yes, he was criticized for the multitude of stupid things he tried to do. But can you tell me that Biden wasn't attacked daily as well? And, as for stabbing people in the back, that tends to be the GOP special. Just ask Kevin McCarthy....The Dems would work with Trump. The problem was he never engaged. Biden, because he actually knows how government works, was able to talk with members of the GOP to build consensus. Trump appears to be the type that wants everyone to fall in line without debate.

That is a very interesting, and not surprisingly, inaccurate description of how the GOP treated Biden during his term. First, many folks still believe he didn't win in 2020....They called him a socialist and communist. Fox and friends railed against everything he did, from the CHIPS act to the Infrastructure bill. They always claimed the employment figures were inaccurate or that GDP growth was misleading. Nothing he did was ever good enough.

So, please, spare us your revisionist bullshit that pretends Biden wasn't slammed throughout his term.

Luckily for Trump, Kamala Harris was one of the worst presidential candidates in US history......LMAO

you seem to not be aware of the fact that the electorate rejected Biden/ Harris
if Biden got slammed throughout his term , it was because he was doing a shitty job

The inflation reduction act was suppose to reduce inflation via ..... increased gov spending ???
That is akin to using a fire extinguisher filled with gasoline
A completely stupid, disingenuous and intentionally misleading act.
pretty dis-respectful to the electorate as well

I have some empathy for Biden because his health is deteriorating and losing your faculties is not something i would wish on anyone.
But he was a shitty manager surrounded by a party of ideologue fools., he was too weak to reign in.

The democrats lost to a mean spirited, nasty vindictive Donald Trump
talk about hitting rock bottom

rather than taking such a crushing defeat as an opportunity to re-evaluate their failed positioning / ideology, your lot are just going to entrench themselves further.

That just might be the case. lol. I guess we'll see how many of his voters have buyers remorse come 2026...
That is totally the wrong way to view what happened
Some inward reflection on your failed ideology is required

You are counting on Trump failing and failing miserably
He might not and then pass the presidents role onto a different republican you hate and despise

layer that on top of the bashing the loonies are going to experience north of the boarder.
you should get a blood pressure monitor

I didn't put words in your mouth:
" Your love of Trump has made you blind to not only his flaws and obvious lies, but to also to the better qualities of virtually everyone else."
Who were you referring to by suggesting "everyone else" in the context you made that remark?

He's never cheated on his taxes. He's never defrauded a charity. Seems to me you've been sucked in by misleading headlines. I can't help you with that if that's your source of "truth".

He hires who he believes will do the best job. Just like in any company. You need to believe they will be the best when you hire them otherwise why are you hiring them? Again, you are basing your feelings on headline spin.

So millions and millions of people voted for him based on fear? hahaha that's funny.

How about millions of people were fed up with the Democrats in many ways and seeing as Trump was already tested as President for a term, they had something to compare. They decided the past 4 years were not as good as the previous 4 years.
Dems had their chance, they fucked it up with their woke policies and people had enough.

Tariffs he is imposing are a deterrent for countries like China to keep the fatal drug trade continue as an example.
Tariffs on select...I'll say it again...select imported goods will foster more domestic goods/production and/or discounts on foreign producers to adjust their pricing to remain competitive.

Why do you support people entering a country and working there illegally and bypassing laws and processes that other people are abiding by?
Why do you think that every person in the country illegally will automatically get deported rather than being guided to go through the proper processes as everyone should do?
Why do you think that the focus won't be on actual criminals like gang members who are in the country illegally?

Based on everything you have attempted to say to justify your position, it's clear that you just don't like him...and then you find things to justify your hatred.

If you just don't like him then just say that rather than trying to peddle misinformation to justify your beliefs as a "tolerant liberal".

Trump has made history as the man who won his presidential
elections only when his opponents were women.
I still can’t believe that Dems were dumb enough to run women against the biggest POS ever running.
like do your fucking experiments when the other guy is a bit more normal and losing is not as significant. Then run a trans dwarf for all I care.
