I always get a kick out of the debates on Piers even though Piers still licks the orange man's fat ass. He still feels he owes Trumpfart something for winning The Celebrity Apprentice.

For the record, yes I would do Emily.
I do Emily too! The best rebuttal against the leftie arguments!

Well, we'll see about that. If Trump loses, no matter by how much, he'll likely claim he won, make up some bullshit about voter fraud and gum up the system with legal challenges like he did in 2020. And if I recall correctly, they didn't officially say Biden won until the Saturday after the election due to the large number of mail in votes.
Yeah. We might know by the end of next week, but we might not.
The GOP has done a lot of work to make it impossible to count votes quickly, since they intend to use that to complain how the vote is being stolen.
So even in a "there is a clear and obvious winner by the vote count" situation, it probably will be several days.

If it is at all close, the GOP will extend it as long as possible with legal challenges, outright non-certification shenanigans, and so on.
(I'm not particularly expecting violence, but that's obviously on the table if they think it would help them.)

Excellent civil debate. Sam is on point and slaps Ben without leaving marks.

You need to separate pollsters who use proper methodology from those who don't. It's the bad ones that get elevated in the bubble.
I don't think too many pollsters were using proper methodology back in 2016 and 2020 because they were way off on a hell of a lot of shit.

I don't think so on the national vote. But youre right many adjustments have been made as they weren't as tight as previously.

In 2016, the overall polling aggregates were pretty good on the national side.
There was shitty state-level polling if I recall.

In 2020, the error was worse.

One of the major things has been getting the weighting right. In 2016, they didn't weight by education much, for instance, but education has become a major predictor of voting and there are some strong splits in poll response based on it.

Polls nationally had Hillary up by 4% on aggregate in 2016. She won by 2%. I don't see that as being pretty good.
In 2020 Biden was up by 8.5% and won by 4.5%*. That's even worse.
I won't even get into the state level polling which was utterly horrendous, particularly in 2020.

It's very good.
Right within the margin of error.
And about normal for polling overall, where the results tend to have an error of around 2-3 percent historically.

In 2020 Biden was up by 8.5% and won by 4.5%*. That's even worse.
I totally agree that 2020 was worse than 2016.

Supposedly the Pennsylvania Amish who rarely vote are totally pissed off with the Biden/Harris government.
They put regulations into law that werent favourable to them (I'm not sure what those regulations were though).
There's 88,000 of them in PA. It could tilt the vote towards Trump

And if Trump wins you lot will whine for the next 4 years how Russia colluded with Trump
LOL
Sure, buddy. The left did not storm the capital trying to prevent the transition of power in 2000 when the Supreme Court gave the presidency to Bush, nor in 2016 when Hillary lost. Don't see that happening this time around either...
