You will need to stop sniffing glue if you think Canada is better off now vs 2015
Our country has never been this divided
Justin Trudeau the moron has turned everything he touched into shit
Its not really Justin Trudeau that has divided the nation. Its the far right and social media. Many western nations are divided now.

Pierre will be a big improvement on Justin the divisor

Do you still publicly admit you voted for the moron Justin ?
The shame must be difficult to endure
YES I voted for him every time. The last two times because the alternatives were so horrific. Not because I think JT is great

The far left is just as much to blame as the far right for all the division

Yet, he started this whole thing by unloading on the protesters with "racists", "misogynistic " with wrong opinions. I'm sure that was his attempt at conciliation. Nothing but ❤ and 🌞 ways. ROTFLMFAO!

What a load of cock and bull story!! None of the protesters in those countries were blockading streets and preventing the flow of goods between their borders.
Moreover the demonstrations were not designed to be noisy day and night for three weeks in a row. If they did what these truckers did you can bet that those demonstrators would have been tear gassed and or bullets fired at them. So stop being a mouth piece for those Autocratic nations!!

He's doing ok if 3/4's of Canada is backing him on turfing the anti vaxxers.
Close to 90% of Canadians have received at least one dose of the vaccine. The 10 to 15% of nutcases calling for their so called "Freedom" or supporters nationally, are in cahoots with the far right organizers who thankfully have been arrested. We know that the majority of Canadians disagree totally that this convoy has anything to do with any freedoms whatsoever. The Emergency Act was 100% justified as similar ones enacted by The provinces may have worked for the borders, but were a total failure in the case of Ottawa. Finally the residents of Ottawa are gasping a sigh of relief as they watch these roadblocks being ripped apart. No doubt a few left on their own, but the majority of these FreeDumb Truckers who were stubborn enough, will pay the consequences. The Conservatives were the ones to complain about The Emergency Act being triggered, but when asked how they would have handled it, of course they had NO SOLUTION!!

You do not have a clue
The left use to push for more union power and more govt benefits, now they push for full blown socialism and the end to free enterprise

There is no way Jean Crietian or Paul Martin would have tried to paint protestors as racists

I think you’re missing the key point of nottyboi’s post. He wasn’t thrilled with voting for Trudeau but did so because of the alternative choices. I am the same. My vote wasn’t “for” the Liberal party as much as it was “against” the others.
The disappointing (for the Liberal party) election results suggest the same is true for many Canadians. With lousy opposition and Canada’s vaccine success, this should have been an easy majority for the Liberals but calling an unnecessary election in the midst of a pandemic nearly backfired.
However the protests and conservatives refusal to denounce them could mean Canadians will remember this at next election and give Trudeau another term.
The attempt to overthrow Trudeau might be the best thing for his re-election hopes.

Two-thirds support Trudeau's use of Emergencies Act against protesters: poll

Two-thirds of Canadians support Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s decision to invoke the Emergencies Act to help handle the protests across the country, according to a new survey.

The Maru Public Opinion poll shows majority support for the measure in every province across the country with more than 70 per cent of those in B.C., Atlantic Canada and Quebec strongly in favour of the move while 65 per cent of those in Ontario approve. Those most likely to oppose invoking the Act can be found in Alberta (49 per cent) and Saskatchewan (43 per cent) where premiers of both those provinces have voiced their displeasure with the move.

Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe says the prime minister has gone too far by invoking the Act, calling on MPs to stop what he calls “this abuse of power.”

The government has tabled the motions in the Commons on the specific powers in the act, which would remain in effect for 30 days unless the government revokes them sooner.

Moe is calling on all parties to allow their members to vote freely on the motions.

The Bloc Quebecois and Conservatives say they will not support the motion while NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh has said he will “reluctantly” back it, calling the situation in Ottawa a crisis. But he warned against “overreach” and says his party will monitor use of the emergency measures, and will be prepared to withdraw support if he feels they are not being used appropriately.

The poll also finds 82 per cent of Canadians believe the situation in Ottawa has gone on for too long with 71 per cent calling it an international embarrassment for Canada.

RELATED: Two-thirds of Canadians support military force to end Ottawa protests: poll

Six in 10 Canadians say it’s time to clear out the protesters even if it means some people may get hurt, or worse, with half of those surveyed saying they support how the police have handled the situation with protesters.

The survey revealed 56 per cent believe premiers have caved into the protesters demands by easing public health measures and mandates even though many provincial leaders say they were doing so because the time had come to lower COVID restrictions. Almost seven in 10 Canadians say regardless of political stripe, politicians who have contributed to or supported these protests should be voted out of office.

The survey was conducted between February 14 and 15, 2022 using a random selection of 1,518 adults who are Maru Voice Canada panelists and is accurate +/- 2.5 per cent, 19 times out of 20.

So Trudeau is 100% correct to enforce this Emergency Act. So such a Huuuuuuuuuuuuugggggggge Disappointment for the usual alt right Trudeau Haters!!
