Sure.

Let's talk about free speech. How about if I phone an ex and say "You spiteful fucking bitch. I'm going to go over there and beat your little face in." Free speech, right?

How about I publicly claim that Oracle rapes 5 year old girls? Free speech, right?

How about I tell Mitch that I can make him a million $$$ if he gives me $10k to invest and then I spend it all on escorts in a weekend. Free speech, right?

How about I post details of all my law clients on social media and mock them? Free speech, right?

Free speech is amazing!! 😹 😹 😹 😹

Maybe free speech isn't so amazing after all and should be controlled free speech????

Like the College controlled Jordan's inane, assinine comments. And the judges all backed the College up.

After all, you guys know way more about free speech than a bunch of judges, right?
1. That's a threat - you can say that but it will have consequences.
2. Slander - unless you have proof it's true.
3. I'm pretty sure that's a criminal offense too.
4. As a lawyer you know damn well has nothing to do with free speech.
Free speech don't warrant breaking the law...free speech doesn't stop because it hurt your feelings.

litigation is amazing
try any of the above and you would get sued into oblivion

Justin Trudeau is not the one to control your speech
Neither is Donald Trump
neither is any politician

It's all "free speech". The point I am making is that "free speech" has to have limits, controls and exceptions.

Your issue is that you don't agree when the CPO and the judges say JP can't make unprofessional statements on social media because you like Peterson and you think you're smarter than the judges.

You can't understand the issue about his unprofessional comments and therefore you get mad when smarter people - like the judges - shut Peterson down.

I think he asked someone to kill themselves or alluded to it.
Please identify the "truth" in that.
He was shit posting and got schooled for it.
He was told off for being unprofessional.
I’m speaking on the overarching message that got him in trouble. He is basing his comments on facts. In regards to your specific call out, he said “you’re free to leave at any point”.

It’s a joke that has many variations that many of us have said in the past. Ten years ago, nobody would’ve batted an eye on this type of humor. Now you have woke social media politics getting involved hanging on every word. Again, cherry picking the message you want.

free speech doesn't mean you can just blurt out anything that's in your head. Threatening words have will have consequences. also slander...we can all call Trump a convicted felon...we can call each other douchebags...there won't be any criminal offense or you can get charged with a civil case...you can get sued calling someone a rapist if there's no conviction....
