Well when I was sixteen, Jennifer Aniston still in elementary school, wasn't on TV yet, let alone famous, and no one had a home PC, nor the internet. So I can say with absolute certainty...ZERO times !!!!!
There is too much drama over a dumb drama teacher turned PM. Trudeau is only tarnished from this revelation. This incident will not have any effect on the Liberals sweeping Atlantic Canada, Quebec is a given Liberal big victory. The blackface issue in Quebec is just a joke an almost non issue. Ontario will be the deciding factor. The Liberals are guaranteed a minority at least which would make the NDP the king maker if they can stave of the Greens.
And in Ontario all that has to happen is Ford to come out of hiding to remind everyone what the other choice means.

Hey Warren, now seems like a good time to tell the story of Justin Trudeau on Oct 22, 2014, the day of the shooting on the Hill.
Long story short, everyone had been moved into the 5th floor cafeteria in Centre Block. Mostly staff and media cause CPC and NDP caucus had already begun by the time of the lockdown. But LPC caucus starts later so they were having their pre-caucus meeting in their leader’s office on the 6th floor.
They moved everyone to ****** throughout the day before evacuation later that night. Anyway, at one point an East Asian man walked in to the cafeteria. He had a big beard and wore a turban.
Trudeau jumped up and joked rather loudly; “Hey there you are. You know they’re looking for you out there. Hey you’re making everyone in here nervous!”
He obviously knew the man, he was a liberal staffer. The man seemed to take the joke well but that’s not really the point. Those of us who heard it looked at each other in shock.
But who will believe Conservative staffers? There were staff, MPs and media in the room. I know people heard it too. Most media were on phones doing radio hits so maybe they didn’t hear it. Anyway that’s the story from that day. Sorry for the novel.

I think your speculation might be right on target, which will be good with a minority government. It's time our country needs a few years' time to get re-calibrated lol.

And in Ontario all that has to happen is for people to remember that the Liberals don't have party status because they fucked everything up for generations to come and were tossed out by the masses.

Oh yes let’s go back to Chrétien shall we...promising to eliminate the GST to get elected then didn’t...Sponsorship scandal, promised to renegotiate NAFTA to get elected then didn’t, Shawinigate,..then is politely asked to “retire” by his own party...
Who imposed the GST in the first place.... not the Conservatives?? NAFTA was the best deal at that time. The only one recently complaining about it is Trump. Still has to get that new deal approved by Congress.
Was it not Mulroney who had his own Skeltons in the closet and then being forced to resign?? He even toured the world on taxpayers expense to say goodbye to the leaders of certain nations. His $1.8 Billion Airbus scandal will be the biggest by any political party not to mention the lawsuit against Mulroney by a German lobbyist. So do not pretend that the Conservatives are clean. They are definitely not. Chretien's Government has one of the best records of any Government in modern times as far as the economy is concerned. He gave Harper a surplus that was turned into a deficit for many, many years, including the cosmetic so called surplus that he handed to Trudeau!!
Even the The Toronto Sun a Conservative newspaper is surprised by the support being still strong for the Liberals after recent poll.

It's charming how Canadians don't like to give any credence to impact of global economic trends on the Canadian economy. The Canadian economy under Chretien benefited from the upswing in the global economy particularly commodity prices.

In all fairness, I don't give Obama or Trump too much credit for their years of economic recovery.
Not to mention the single biggest downloading of Federally funded programs to Provincial responsibility in the history of Canada.
That's how the Chrétien Liberals "Stabilized" the economy.
What does that say about a Government, that during one of the biggest economic growth periods of the later half of the 20th Century, the only way they could stabilize things was to download hundreds of billions onto the heads of the provinces. And act that pretty much broke Newfoundland, and most provinces are still dealing with to this day.
The same way Harris's Conservatives "stabilized" the Ontario economy, by downloading provincial programs and infrastructure to municipalities without funding mechanisms to keep them going. Pretty much broke Toronto back then, and the various Fords and Torys since haven't made it any better.
