Do you know of a player who weighs 260lbs. or more and is the fastest skater on his respective nhl team? Who is he and What team does he play for?

I think this is a flawed question. The only player on the everyday regular rosters in the NHL that is 260 or more is Chara(Sens).And he is not the fastest skater in Ottawa.
The next two big guys in the league who may be fastest on their teams are
Bertuzzi (Canucks) 245 lbs
McAllister (Coyotes)250 lbs
Any one else 260 plus must be in the AHL

(sorry i don't have one to give) ...i shoulda thought about that sooner, but, i didn't think all ya' hockey gurus woulda had any trouble with this one. that's o.k.-it wasn't published in any mainstream way. i heard the info on the televised game as well. i couldn't confirm it from his nhl squad-nothing on their website, but, given that there is quotes of him being the fastest skater on his old russian junior squad, the quote from the televised game and he was also the fastest skater on his junior team in the Q... moncton as well as on the Springfield AHL team.
also noted... this season has the highest # of big players in the nhl ever and also, the average draft size and weight are both at their highest ever. Wayne Gretzky said that the trend is towards bigger, faster skaters; so i'm sure their will be many more heavyweights that can really cut up the ice in the future.
