Yes you are expected to pay her expenses including airfare, accommodations, activities and meals. Shopping is something that's up to your discretion and it's not something I expect on a vacation. But I'm sure as hell not going to turn it down either LOL
I would not go on a vacation without being compensated in some way. Although I would not ask for my regular rate because it is a vacation and there would be fun involved. So the social time I don't really charge for. But if you're expecting to get laid a couple of times a day then you're going to pay for it LOL.

You also have to take into account that the entire time I'm away with you I cannot earn any income. So I lose a week's worth of regular income.

I’ve never done it, but as other have suggested, this is probably an area to tread carefully. If it goes well you will have an epic vacation, if it doesn’t, you will have fucked up a vacation, which at least to me is a risk I would have a hard time taking. You’d have to know the person really well, seen them multiple times, with a number of prolonged dates/ overnights. You’d have to have some common interests, and future out what mutual expectations are. And as many have suggested you will need deep pockets (notwithstanding some experiences that didn’t end up costing 5 figures plus). I can’t see a scenario where I’d go on a trip with a SP, though I’ve known some fabulous, great girls who are great company. Maybe also it’s a bit of my reserved / and conservative nature, and need for personal privacy too.

That's not why we charge how we charge. Every day, for at least 14hrs a day, my day is going to be about you and making sure your happy. It doesn't matter how much you enjoy someone's company, you are paying me to make sure you have a good time, and that requires work around the clock. It is not a vacation with my boyfriend where I can tell him to go jet skiing by himself because I just want to rest or lay in the sun, or that I'm not in the mood to fuck today. I'm literally working around the clock to curate your experience and give you the best time possible. And this is EXHAUSTING. One thing clients don't understand is that even when you make it about us, it's still about you. When a client tells me how much HE enjoys eating pussy, him eating me out now becomes about him, if I don't like how he's doing it and say that, I'm ruining his experience. Literally spending almost every waking moment catering to someone else is a lot of fucking work. And I'll be taking at least 2 weeks OFF work when I get home to recover from the mental exhaustion so that I do not burn out.
Also, if you divide my weekly rate by my hourly rate, the client is only being charged for 5hrs a day. It's not an around the clock calculation.
It's just truly disheartening how many of you refuse to see our work as work. Trust me, if providers stop making the effort to make these types of appointments all about you, you'd definitely notice and you wouldn't like it, because regardless of the amount paid, you expect a service that keeps you happy.

I have gone on vacation 3 times with an SP. all great experiences. Use good judgment and set out the details beforehand. For one trip, I paid all travel expenses and a $1K for shopping and other expenses (paid at the airport) plus a $1K tip (paid afterwards) for an unbelievable trip.
