Toronto Sun, worst newspaper around?

I don't understand?
If you don't like a certain newspaper...why read it?
Personally I am offended at times by the Toronto Star.... I refuse to read any editorials or commentaries in the Liberal ooops I mean the Star.
I don't watch TV shows that I don't like, I don't eat at restaurants that I don't like... and I won't read something that I don't like.

I have not bought any newspapers at all in years. I get them all for free at my office. For me and over 1/2 the office staff here all of them are really only good for washroom floor coverings. Cause that is almost always where they ALL end up.
The Sun I noticed though is often 'stuck' right to the floor. Must be something they put in the ink.

The Sun should save money and only come out with one page with the sunshine girl on it..That is the only reason people buy it.
I agree... but it's a rag that collects MILLIONS of $$$ a year for all those adult ads. I know the cost of those little three line ads that you can barley read. So one day just for fun I added up the revenue they make on each page and times it X's 365. If I remember right it was around ... are you ready?MLAM said:

Another thing I noticed (i bought breakfast at mc-d's this morning and just came back from a diner that had the sun), the sun has no business section at all. Come to think of it, the only consistant article that i remember seeing is stuff about gas prices. I also skimmed through their classifieds and realised that if u want a "job" you would be looking in the sun classifieds, but if you wanted a "career" the jobs in the star and the globe + post would more suited.
Although I'd rather read the star than the sun, my ultimate favourite source of news information is the BBC. I dont know why but they seem to be the most centralist of the news sources.

Hey last year I myself did over $700,000.00 And albeit I am the #1 sales guy here... That's $700,000.00 in adult ads in one year sold by just one lonely guy.

The Globe and Mail is the only newpaper that could argue to have university level writing.
The Sun is for people with an IQ below the triple digits. I can't stand the slanted journalism of the National Post.. same with the Star, but I do like their crosswords and word jumbles.

That's not really a complement when you consider the shit writing you see in any campus newspaper. The problem is that journalism is dead. Journalism schools have been pumping "the medium is the message" crap and journalist graduate thinking "I can make a difference" instead of "I can report the news". No skin off my nose. I don't work for The Sun. I do sell adult ads for another publication. I use to check the adult ads in The Sun for leads. I have since found better lead sources. One day I just added them up out of curiosity. At the end of the day though I don’t really give a shit what other publications are doing. It matters not to me and does not affect my bottom line. I posted just as a note of interest... not to cry about it.
