Have you noticed a drop in restaurant clients post pandemic?
I couldn't get the link below to work. I got a pop-up message that said: "Danger Ahead, Go Back".

You gotta believe that food delivery services have had an impact on in person dining.High prices, poor service and tipping culture are the main factors I believe is keeping people away.
They all started gouging during covid and it hasn't let up.Restaurants are a tough business to turn a profit at the best of times. Currently the market is brutal. I eat out more frequently than the average person and I would say that patronage numbers are down at least 1/3 from a year ago. And as we know a year ago numbers were down from pre covid by at least 25%.
Most pizza and Chinese places focus on takeout and have a limited seating area or none at all. In a way, that makes the seating area subsidized by the takeout business. Dedicated drivers aren't cheap and they're on company payroll and maybe benefits. Then there's the cost of fuel and insurance. That makes me curious about the cost difference between having dedicated drivers vs Uber Eats. The restaurants that aren't as take out focused will have little choice but to use Uber Eats.Pizza and Chinese food have their own dedicated drivers so they're better.
DefinitelyI think people are buying their groceries and making their meals at home.
Yeah. I was referencing it mainly in terms of when I personally am OK with delivery not the in-dining aspect. Most pizza and Chinese places focus on takeout and have a limited seating area or none at all. I spoke to a couple of these bicycle guys (that clog up the bike lanes).Dedicated drivers aren't cheap and they're on company payroll and maybe benefits. Then there's the cost of fuel and insurance. I was clearly talking about car drivers. Hence the cost of fuel and insurance. It makes no sense to me that restaurants would rent out bikes to Uber Eats contractors because of the cost to buy and maintain them.I spoke to a couple of these bicycle guys (that clog up the bike lanes).
1) They are paid per actual deliveries.
2) They rent their bikes from the restaurant.
