There is a lot of wealth within Toronto, obscene wealth, multiple property wealth, greed driven wealth, greed driven wealth at the expense and to the detriment of most Torontonians.

So if someone has made good choices and investments in their life and as a result has become wealthy, that's greed to you?
Sounds like someone is jealous and wants to blame successful people for their own failure. Poor you.

When you're losing $60 million+ per year on TTC fare evasion while rewarding those employees by giving them more money and cozy pensions, that doesn't have anything to do with "keeping pace"...it has to do with management.
We all know enough PS workers (at least I do) who almost brag about having to spend their annual budgets or risk not getting the same or more the following year...known as "March Madness" ...when they all just blow it on stuff they don't really need.

It's the sum of all parts. No one is confident that every tax dollar is being managed properly and the lazy solution is to just extort more from constituents. Real businesses and personal households would not survive that way...why do we let our government get away with it?

Sums of various parts. Take sum unions. Not all cry the blues in the public domain for sympathy and votes…Not all are puppets masters. While most have DBPs, not all make well above the median income. Do we really begrudge those people future security? Any time I’ve asked a well paid public servant why they aren’t capable of taking care of themselves and instead need pensions padded by people struggling to buy food, pay bills and save for their own futures. They just go blank and don’t answer.

Why do we let them? Well part of it is FPTP and a numbers game. Best way to get those votes is make people happy, make the noise makers happy..

Etc and so on.

Very bad for the car. Short trips wear down the battery. Not reaching operating temperature means that the oil, transmission fliud never gets hot enough to burn off the contaminants and condensation. The exhaust also does not burn off the condensation.
