The issue with the Leafs (if they lose) is once again having a pseudo Patrick Lalime in net. Has been there issue in the playoffs since the first round losing streak began. Even if the goalie plays well he gets outplayed or let’s a bad goal in at the worst time.

But I’m not calling this series either — I think it could go either way.

Wayne Simmons will get into fights and costs the leafs Powerplays and losing goals.
But if he were to get into fights with Stamcos, who knows who will be injured.

The Leafs are not good performer in playoffs, look at last time they lost to the Canadiens in the playoff.

Don't forget, TB Lightlings' Russian goalie is as wide as the net. No one can get a goal when he is in front of the net.

I predict Nylander will come out on fire tonight.
After the demotion and being made to play on Friday night, I hope he feels he wants to stick it up everyone's ass.
He looked kind of pissed during the game Friday.
We need him to dominate the ice like he can when he wants to.
GO LEAFS GO!

What do you expect from Hans fans! LOL
Habs fans are classless for the most part. And they'll turn on their team on a dime. Leafs fans are just naively (some may argue stupidly) loyal.

Given the physicality of TB we are forced to play the low skilled Simmonds in this series. Ugh.

TB is playing rough. 3 power plays in 1 st period. Jake Muzzen scored 1st goal towards end of 1st period. Who ever scores first is having big morale boost. Go Leafs Go.

Well, him and Clifford would have helped Rielly from having to fight Maroon.
Rielly looked to have hurt his hand.
You're probably in the minority since most want more bangers on the Leafs.

Based on this one game, it doesn't look like the refs are putting away their whistles for the playoffs. If that's the case, the skilled players will be able to ply their trade without all the clutch and grab. It could make a big difference for teams that supposedly aren't built for the playoffs.

Reilly’s lip was bleeding a bit too. His knuckles were red with bit of blood.

There hasn't been clutch and grab for years. It's called obstruction. It's the calling the crosscheck a penalty this year that is helping players like Matthews/Marner.

Regardless, historically the refs have let way more stuff go without calling a penalty in the playoffs than they do in the regular season. This game looked to be called differently than in previous playoff years. But it's just one game.

Who scored the 5 goals for the Leafs?
I know Jake Muzzen scored the first one.

Haven't watched a Leafs game all season, I was surprised by what I saw. They were protecting their goalie, has Culford Nostromo (Giordano) made that much of a difference? The Lightning are fatigued, they've gone the distance two years in a row. There is no better time to get off the opening round butt plug than now.

A song for Marc's pop Paolo Giordano.

Had the Leafs not won Clifford would be the new Kadri.
