It's not really a major Jewish holiday anyways, more historic than religious (and only pumped up so little Jewish kids don't get jealous around Christmas - but Eastern Orthodox is the best because you can do you Christmas shopping on Boxing Day). I don't think that it is on "approved holiday" lists and definately not for all 8 days. Besides, as a civil servant, I'm sure that she will have all sorts of other days to take off year round.joebear said:I haven't read thru all the threads but I'm sure Justice Cohen will take off both Hankukah(sp?) and Christmas as holidays.
