It's not really a major Jewish holiday anyways, more historic than religious (and only pumped up so little Jewish kids don't get jealous around Christmas - but Eastern Orthodox is the best because you can do you Christmas shopping on Boxing Day). I don't think that it is on "approved holiday" lists and definately not for all 8 days. Besides, as a civil servant, I'm sure that she will have all sorts of other days to take off year round.

Also it's a moot point as she has no choice about taking Christmass off.

I agree, I have switched back the good ole incandescent 7 watt bulbs outdoors and mini lights indoors.

I tried the LED ones, but they just don't seem "right"
