In fact, The West Bank used to take in $100's millions of dollars from the Casino industry based on Israel tourism, not to mention the ripple effects it had on the economy. People also used to travel from Jordan and Egypt.

The casinos were shut down due to random killings and torture of Israeli visitors, and now the tourism industry is practically dead (other than reporters and peace activists).

But, I must be the tool for even suggesting that peace may lead to prosperity.
