If you can't wrap your head around the irony of a $1700/plate fundraiser where affordability is being lectured about and the very same people responsible for making things unaffordable are the ones lecturing and charging that amount then I really can't help you.

He's already explained. It's not his responsibility this far away from an election to produce policies. The government in power creates policies.

if you think any political party reveals their specific policies and plans in detail 1.5 years ahead of an election then you really don't know how politics work and campaigning work. Why would you give your opponent that much time to plan against you?
