To Review or Not To Review

What do you do if you have a booking with with an SP and she has a no review policy and the whole trip was bad?

Do you lap it up and keep your pride because of the money you`ve lost
or
Do you post it anyways to save fellow members the pain and expense.

BTW: This is for the conspicuous lads, no i didn't have a bad booking, its just for future reference.

this is the case of layla from the burlington/hamilton forum..... after countless bantering about her service, the threads on her has been closed, and my new thread about her thread being closed was deleted.... this is a review board until the sp yells unfair or not true.... i am assuming layla now has a NRP....

I'm weighing in with my own female perspective - the thoughts and opinions shared here are my own and do not necessarily reflect those of the other ladies on the board.

I do not have an NRP but I'm generally not widely reviewed either. It isn't good or bad as I know that the gentlemen who have spent time with me have enjoyed me and themselves just as I have enjoyed them and myself.

I feel that having an NRP for the sole purpose of trying to hide bad service should not be allowed but I think that the best way to combat it would be to offer a review to the Mods asking for consideration to post as a true public service.

In my opinion, if the O/P of a negative review would be willing to be contacted directly by the Mods to confirm details and to answer any other questions that may be necessary to determine the true nature of the complaint and what the review really should contain in the way of a warning then it should be allowed to stand regardless of any NRP that the lady may have.

As an aside, I think that if we ladies knew we'd be reviewed in a fair and objective manner we may be less likely to request an NRP. As taste is very personal and subjective many reviews may appear biased and not offer opinion which would or should be widely held by the readers of this board/purveyors of our services.

It states that the NRP will not be honored for a lady that has consistent bad reviews or runs a B&S operation.

The NRP is in place to protect the lady`s personal privacy and not her sub-par service. I interpret this to mean that if you are respectful about what you post and you do not post any additional information that she has not already given , you should be able to post a review. Do not give specifics on her, but tastefully share the experience and what caused it to be bad. If the mods have an issue with what has been posted, they will let you know. We, of course, appreciate the feedback that would be offered.

I believe that the Layla thread was closed because it was turning into a pissing match and it was no longer productive. If the mods were protecting Layla, they would have deleted the thread, rather than just locking it. It was left there so that people can still read the reviews that were given and make their own decision, while putting an end to the nonsensical back and forth.

If she runs an ad, she can be reviewed.
If her NRP is a concern than just say she is a bad deal or a rip off and don`t list services.
NRP should be for average to great girls who want to keep what`s on the menu a secret or don`t want boyfriends to hear what went down. NRP is not for lazy girls who steal your cash or false advertise

I agree with others that one should write a review even if it is a negative one, regardless if the SP has a NRP. This help others avoid the bad ones, which hopefully will make them move away from the profession. Conversely, good reviews help those that provide good service. Quoting Warrior666

I didn't even know the thread got closed till reading this , i couldnt find it so i searched my name and stumbled upon this.
I accept both negative and positive reviews, but not if they are untrue. If it's a lie I will, and really all SPs should write back and let it be known. I take negative reviews , and turn them around to improve myself and/or service. Of course positive reviews are always great.

As an SP who has used a NRP in the past I can understand why some girls feel the need. Many of us have seen posts on here that violate a girls privacy by listing the address, phone number, or real name that WASN'T posted in our adds. We give discretion to our clients and there should be some sort of return on that.

I no longer use a NRP, but I am clear with my clients on what information is private. I have had to chose to not give out my number, and that slows service which I'm sure will require a review . . . hopefully you see what I am getting at here.

I agree that if a girl seriously rips you off then she may be asking for what she gets. But do consider that if you want a classy girl she probably has a life outside of this business to protect and her discretion is just as important as yours.

If you want to give a fair review that doesn't give away more than the girls working name and a link to the info that she publicly provides, I see no harm in that. But if there is a REAL privacy issue I hope that the NRP would be put into effect.

The circumstance hasn't really come up for me, as the SPs I've seen who don't like to be reviewed have all been good. Still, perhaps that's because I usually see well-reviewed SPs, and only very rarely see SPs with no-review policies. Still, if I were to have a really bad experience with somebody who has a stated policy of preferring no reviews, I'd ignore the policy and warn people about her anyway.

I guess I'd agree with Helena Pleasure's point; people who are trying to conceal bad service seem to prefer to use a strategy of changing names rather than trying to get people not to review them (perhaps because most guys have the same attitude as me toward honoring such a request in the case of bad service). The SPs who ask not to be reviewed seem to instead be mostly women who are especially concerned about their privacy.
