Lol, you're not helping yourself.

We can't be expected to go back and re-read your answers just because you edit them.

Whatever... You posted, then changed your mind, changed your post and I didn't notice.

As a provider, you can do whatever you want. You don't need people's approval anyways. I still vote DUO 😆
Do you not understand how time stamps work?

I posted on page 2 that I was going to extend him time. On post 24. So you had your chance to read it there.

Then I posted on post 49. I edited that post at 10:30 this morning. It has a time stamp of when I edited the post. You didn’t post your comment until 2:30. 4 hours after it was edited. So there is no “going back to re-read”. It was there already when you posted your comment. And it was there twice on post 24 and 49.

And the only thing that was edited was changing the word “their” to “there” which is evident on Bucktee's post right after mine. My reply as to what I was going to do was not "added". There was no mind changing. Nothing. The same thing I said on page two is what I said here on page three.

So I'm sorry but I didn't change anything. You simply didn't read. And that is ok. But the time stamps are all there in black and white.

Agree with time stamps & edit
If you aren't reading all posts & just glancing or speed reading, it's easily missed.
Reading on cell vs laptop I miss things as well.
Damn small print & old eyes.
Gotta use my glasses all the time now to use cell or laptop. Especially on cell

You're assuming too much.

It's funny though how one day you're a successful business woman who needs advice with an employee and the other day you can't make a simple decision in this particular situation.

I get it! You wanted attention and now you have it. Congratulations!

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I can’t believe it is that hard for you to simply admit a mistake. Like seriously.

I brought a discussion to the forum as a general topic. I even clarified that earlier. That this was not about what I would do but what is the industry standard on expectations.

Relax dude. You made a mistake and didn’t read something. It is not the end of the world. It doesn’t make you a bad person. This is not a hill you need to die on.

😂😂😂😂😂😂

Oh and as my posting history will show, @squeezer mentioned I had been quite lately and that was because I was not really posting in the lounge, so that is why I decided to make a lounge post about something I thought was going to possibly be an interesting topic. Just sayin’. Everything is here in black and white. If you actually read.

You haven't actually replied to my post and are gaslighting instead.

I suppose this is how a strong, independent businesswoman acts.

No one cares what you do with your clients. Your inconsistencies are funny though.

I feel like I am going in circles.....

Again, it is all in black and white. Everyone can read the truth. I already answered. I didn't need to reply to your post directly. Someone else directed you to that answer. That is how all this started.

Gaslighting is a good word here. So is deflection. You are doing both. Not well but you are trying

Anyways, if your ego so desperately needs it, you can have the last word. I don't need it with you. People can read. You may not be able to, but others can and do.

Easy to have that issue. Other issues however..... well when you can't admit a simple mistake, that says a lot.

So I had a prebooked appointment this week. Prebooked by 2 days. The night before I get a message from my SIL, I need to come watch my nephew. Overnight. She had a family emergency and all the actual family needed to be there, so since I am an in-law, I am the next best “family” to watch him. I had no idea when she would be home the next day and it was a morning appointment. I can’t message that night because I don’t know if the client is married, will be alone or text-friendly. We have confirmation time the morning of and I don’t take deposits.

So when he contacts to confirm, I explain and cancel the appointment. This is what confirmations are for.

So the question, do I offer a discount when he tries to book again or chop this up to shit happens, this is why we have confirmations, he hadn’t driven and wasted gas, etc.

I thought it would be an interesting topic for discussion.
I have booked and prepaid a 3hr appointment and had to cancel on my end because life happens. She was gracious enough to offer an alternate play date but I just said keep it as a cancellation fee. This happened a couple of times. I wouldn't expect a discount the next booking because time is money. But that is just me.
