When I see impatient people lined up for gas behind me, not only do I get coffee and then pay for my gas, but I also wipe all my windows, check the oil, etc. When will people realize that their time is no more important than my time.

Diode, no problem fun is good, I ll be filling up at Pioneer ( as usual)
and grabbing coffee at a Tim's only well okay maybe a Tim's and Wendy's.
Hey papa why not add in coffee for the people at work and get them each made right. Just make sure you tell the person behind the counter the whole order really fast generally screws them right up and they will 99% of the time screw something up. :)

And don't forget the dozen bagels, dozen muffins all paid for with your penny jar collection, counted out one penny at a time.

If you are in a hurry while I am buying a double double at the gas station line, please tell me, so I can personally apologize and tell you TO GET UP EARLIER!!!
Such a simple man. Do you not think, that, maybe, its possible, we all have jobs that, may not involve going to the same place, at the same time everyday?
I get calls. They wake me up. They need our services. (and you do too)
So please, as brillant as your idea is. Understand, we are not all YOu.
And PLEASE get out of my way.
Thanks.

get your coffee at home and get out of the way
The problem with that the whole premise of this thread is that you (people who just want gas) would like the people that want gas and coffee to inconvenience themselves to make life easier for you. Well doubt it will happen considering this a world of first come, first serve.
But honestly with what I have read here why is it some people seem arrogant enough to assume that their time is more valuable than some one else time when in truth every person's time is worth the same.
People want to get impatient so be it they are also the ones that are sitting behind you at the pumps but yet two pumps over there are no cars.
Your choice stay mad at the person in front of you at the pumps or get over it, since it won't be the last time it happens.

I dont think he's asking for inconvenience, but simply courtesy...just not in a courteous way :D

Wow, what a totally un-Canadian thread this is turning out to be. What's happening to our country?

I always move my car out of the way when I'm done (if there are people waiting). It has nothing to do with coffee - I move it even if I'm just going in to pay for the gas and nothing else. Isn't that just the courteous thing to do, to let the guy behind you fill up and get on with his day instead of sitting in his car waiting for you to come back out of the store?

And I'm not saying this in the sense that I'm some kind of supernice guy. I'm as selfish and as big a jerk as anyone. But moving out of the way so the next guy can fill up just seems like the Canadian thing to do - that kind of politeness is the way I was brought up. But I grew up in Northern Ontario. Maybe Torontonians are just more American and selfish than the rest of Canada (again, not trying to insult anyone, just floating an idea).

The nice thing to do is to move so the next guy can fill up.

Shit. Why do you insist on being wrong. If I was Not going to get gas, yet still I had the nerve to block a pump, would I not be rude?
Gas is gas. Coffee is coffee.
My time is worth no more or noLESSthan yours.
I want a coffee I'll line up.
I want gas, I'll line up.
I want a gas, with No coffee, why the fark should I line up for coffee?
You, Make me do it by being so dammed rude and hogging a space at the pump.
You don't get it my frriend. I don't want the coffee. Why should I wait for you?
