Bellagio...one of my fav's...classy understated expensive and above all, worth every cent..rooms are great(get an upgrade looking onto the strip...) roomservice in the morning is a must and try the buffet at night. Shopping for the ladies on the caesar's forum concourse is the best in the world (been to rodeo drive and it is nothing compared to the forum shops)..If you like to
sitesee this is central to everything...if you have a few days you might want to drive down to palm springs and have a massage at Merv's Griffin's place..
I highly recommend a stay there as well.

That's all they have really. The shopping is lousy. The beaches are so far from the water you wont even want to swim when you get there.

Stay away from the SP's who advertise in the sleazy giveaway papers or tabloids. Many are a total ripoff and are there to exploit unwary tourists. The girls advertised do not look like the trolls who come marching to your door. I remember an advertisement that stated that the the photos were the real escorts. Unfortunately, they were pictures of well-known porn stars.

On another note, stay away from the brothels outside Las Vegas. They also prey on tourists and will separate you from your money. Mabel's (which operates under various names) is one such place. It advertises a lot. However, it is way overpriced and the girls are really worn-out looking.

I have done both of the above at one time or another in Sin City and have returned dissatisfied.

I like to flirt with the scantily clad cocktail waitresses. Only American casinos seem to have that. For a good tip, I've gotten some minor extras. So might as well enjoy what's there, and what you can't find anywhere else. I wouldn't hobby there due to the high prices and rip-offs, as others have mentioned.

I'm thinking about heading there myself soon. I may also drive to LA to/from there, but I'm concerned about driving 6 hours through the Mojave Desert. Has anyone done this before? How is the drive, if anyone knows?

The pool at the hard rock hotel and casino is the best pool
in vegas. It looks like a beach with a lagoon pool. It even has
sand everywhere. Have fun! I love vegas! :p

The drive through the Mojave from Las Vegas to LA is great, I have done it many times. Stark scenery, interesting sights. Just be careful that you do not arrive in LA at rush hour, the suburbs go on forever. You can also go via Palm Springs, it is interesting also.

When in Las Vegas with ones SO, The famous Red Rooster couples club is worth a visit, downstairs has pool, hot tub, pool tables, dance floor, sometimes live band. Upstairs is couples only. The entire place is sex permitted anywhere you want. Wife and I went into an empty bedroom upstairs and prepared to go at it. Before you know it, there are about twenty people standing around the outside of room, fully clothed, arms folded, ready to watch. If you can get hard in that situation, nothing should bother you. No pressure.

You can also go to the gun store, you walk in, state that you want to fire guns, and they give you a gun and a box of shells, and you head back to the range, no license or anything required. There is an optional lesson, and before you know it you are firing away with a 9mm or a 38 special, or 44 Magnum, or whatever. I took my secretary, she enjoyed the 44.

I enjoyed the brothel in Pahrump. For hobbying it is not good value, but you can hang out in the sports bar, socialize with the ladies, watch the customers, etc., and there is no pressure to buy or anything.

Thanks. It's definitely on my list of things to do. I always love the scenes in the movies when people are driving through the desert and staying at cheap motels and gas stations. Of course, in the movies, there's always betrayal, deception, and murder followed by a massive shootout, car chase through the desert, and big explosions! Cool!

I remember reading an article about this. Some guy did this, but his intent was to commit suicide. He went to one of these places, got the gun, went to the range, and shot himself. The news article went on to discuss how this could possibly be prevented, and what, if any, regulations should be placed on such places. I imagine that that was just a freak occurrence and for the most part, such ranges would be great fun. I heard that you can actually get a H&K submachine gun to shoot as well.

Yeah, I heard that the average cost is $3-400/hr, if you can negotiate. For most guys, it ends up being a lot more.

The drive is more like 4 hours to San Bernadino and it's definitely worth driving during the day of course. If you have a rental you could even zoom through some sandy sideroads for that dust effect. Make sure tank is full and you got plenty of water.

I must be missing something. Done the LA to LV and LV to SF about dozen times. The only thing interesting along the way was checking out the Blonde Hollywood-want-to-be @ Barstow Factory outlet. And many signs remind you not to fall asleep while driving as you leave LV with your wallet a lot lighter. Oh, make sure you've lots of fuel as its a long walk.

Balt, interesting desert drive try the old highway to hell route 666

Particularly by Navajo reserve. Like an episode of X-files, you can hear the dead silence except for Bald-eagle circle overhead waiting for prey, with remote John Wayne cowboy-like backdrop.

Grand Canyon is experience of a life-time. An aerial view is worth the $ to appreciate its grandness, especially before sunset for the colour contract, bring sunglasses. But Long boring drive, erry north of Flagstaff with all flower reefs by side of highway, guess many unfortunate accidents.

There are gun clubs in T.O. that teach fire-arm safety. Not promote Terminator violence but proper respect and handling as a sport.

Have fun.

csr, Bellagio is very classy hotel. Not sure if they still have the Sunday champange brunch, go early to avoid line-up and you'll get the vip feel.

If you're into suites, Mandalay bay has promotions for $110/night. Promotion on for dinner credit, momma mia tickets & spa. Request for quiet rooms, usually larger corner rooms.

The show Zumanity is pretty good I hear. O was worth the money.
Bally showgirls are sexy. Much better than the real Moulin Rouge girls in Paris, imo and show was 1/2 the price.

SC on old strip was waste of time and $. Ok girls but pricey for the non-experience.

I didn't say every show is great but there's enough variety that most people can find some good entertainment.

The good & bad

I visited one of the Brothels in Pahrump a couple of years ago. It was kind of exciting to view the lineup with introductions, pick a Lady and be escorted to Her room. The opening offer from Her was 90 Min., massage, and 2 sog any way I wanted. Price $1600 US dollars!! I was so shocked all I wanted was the door hitting me in the butt. She offered alternatives but I never heard them. I returned to Las Vegas, had dinner got drunk at the bar playing video poker, won $200 dollars which the Lady on the stool next to me requested for an hour in my room.
