I remember when no one picked up after their dogs. Brand new running shoes always had a magnetic attraction to fresh dog shit. The worst was in parks, when the first big thaw of late winter occurred, walking on ice covered by several inches of water, with land mines of dog shit from all the different levels of melted snow. I don't miss that.
