I was trying to get my foot (and more!) in the door so just following protocolI think the country is more interested in her domestic affairs.
No, and I searched in their website. But I think I seen her in the evening substituting for the regular so she may be back tonight.
About her name, Stations always mentions their name or display it, but today nothing and I sort of tune in while she was half way, not even the anchor lady mentioned her name.. like thank you....
What happened to Kayla Williams, she came back from maternity leave early this year, the past couple months don't see her

This is a very contentious issue. On the one hand, why should Facebook, Google, etc, make money from advertisers for showing news content that they did not collect nor pay for? The government attempted to protect our news gathering agencies by telling Facebook etc to pay for what they are rebroadcasting. Seems fair to me. Of course they don't want to pay so they cut out Canadian news. No winners here.
I agree the platforms should pay for what they post news wise, however if CP24, or anyone else posts a link to a news article, Google, Meta, etc should not have to pay for someone else posting on the platforms. The person paying should be the person posting the link/content.
