I don't wonder about that. I wonder why so many only noticed the out of control spending in Washington after Obama was sworn in.

Perhaps because the U.S. Federal Deficit climbed from $2.73 trillion in 2007 to $3.52 trillion in 2009 and in 2009 alone, overall federal spending increased by $536 billion or 18 percent.

The poor are not getting poorer nor is the middle class, the rich are getting richer and the disparity is growing. You can't really go beyond the talking points with is a bit disappointing given this is the discussion you wanted to have.
