I've changed my mind. The French Revolution was only the second most important event in history--I was wrong.

The most important event was Paul Revere's midnight ride to warn the British that the Americans were armed.
Don't worry, I got it. You wit did not go to waste.

I think Im going to retract my first answer.

Yes, Bohr also did a lot of work with the Atom too. They were both Jewish, as Jews are a very small percentage of the population but have brought a lot great discoveries to the worlds table.

But of course the Palestinian vermon are trying to kill off all the Jews, so they can steel their land and spread their toxic venom terror throughout the world.

But lets be realistic here. The most important contribution to man kind was in 1876 when George Washington Carver invented peanut butter. Did you notice that after peanut butter was invented, the world started moving forward very rapidly.

You're like an anti-Gryfin. If we put you and Gryfin in a room together, do you spontaneously annihilate one another?

If they both believe it is their room, ......

Gryfin would never take up the offer to debate or challenge me, he wouldnt win. He would end up with egg on his face.
Gryfin is either a f**king Palestinian pussy or f**king a Palestinian pussy.
But if he wants to challenge me, Im up for it.

Language. With language the whole concept of transmitting information in detail got its start. From there you get writing, to record what is said, philosophy, science, everything. But communication gave us the ability to work together and kill all our competitors.

Honestly, with comments like this, i want to say the holocaust. Such racist comments with such generalization of race makes me sick. Some jews have learned nothing from the Holocaust. The ghettos thEy were in are very much like the ghetto of gaza that palestinians now live in today.

Back on topic the most important event will be meeting intelligent alien life.

The development of agriculture.
+1

There's an excellent book - Guns, Germs and Steel by Jared Diamond - which discusses this topic at length. Agriculture was arguably the most important development in human history. Once agriculture was developed humans could spend less time hunting and gathering, and more on other things (arts, science, literature, sport, porn, etc.) because food was now (somewhat) stable. Most great civilizations were all centered on strong agriculture which allowed a division of labour and specialization of tasks. This left great minds free to think up philosophy, law, medicine, the internet, facebook, terb, etc.
Hats off to the early farmers, they changed the world!

The wheel and the ability to capture and use fire and the development of agriculture and ultimately the padded horse collars allowing for heavier plows able to handle tougher ground, are all good points, but they were very very early and gave way to a small increases in the rate of population and new developments, but when you look at the age of discovery it coincides greatly with the freer access to the printed word, ~1450 AD.

Facebook, Hmmmm! Let me think about that.

language is so vague a point in time and place. Are you refering to the grunts and whistles of the proto language of homo habilis or the proper languages of homo sapien? There's few thousand years in that span of time, 2.5 million - 100,000 years, it's not quite a small point in time..

Yup, a lot of Vikings and Mongols became farmers. Vikings in northern France (Normany) and the Mongols in Russia ("The Golden Horde").
