The Tory castle of lies, deception and poop has - predictably - crumbled into poop and sand.
I don't understand the mystique of St George, he never set foot on the British Isles. He was a Roman general who spent his life in Asia Minor, he was beheaded on order of Emperor Diocletian for not renouncing his Christian faith. If the UK renounces the ECHR, they can kiss a return to the Single Market goodbye. Despite what the haughty English claim, they don't have the final word on re-entry into the Single Market.
It's almost certain that Labour and Keir Starmer will win the most overwhelming electoral triumph in a century and that the Tory Party will be annihilated and perhaps destroyed forever this year.
Starmer is a former top level lawyer and will not take Britain out of the ECHR. That's a Tory rant, designed to block any opposition to their "deport to Rwanda" scheme.
I am guessing that Starmer will start making noises about undoing Brexit as soon as he tests the waters as the new PM.
