I've been saying this all along.
Russian govt is the fucking best beyond any comparison to any other entity, individual, country,
And it is fucking brilliantly genius in its cost effectiveness.
For less cash than the cost of just one S-400 Missile system ($500m) sprinkled around journalists, politicians and protest groups, they can defeat the west by creating FUD (Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt) leading to lessening of military assistance to Ukraine.
Think how far $500,000,000.00 can go split up a few hundred thousand here and there every year...

This brings to my mind Putin's underhand meddling into the
environmental and climate change movement in the U.S.through
covert support of anti-fosil-fuel climate fanatics groups.Though not
a total failure it could not even pass as partially successful as it
failed to achieve its objective of putting a lid on shale oil developments
which have enabled the U.S. to produce more oil than Russia. I'd still
say Putin did a big favor to climate activists nonetheless given
Biden and the Democrats' commitment to net zero emission.

Putin is exploiting all he can. He realizes, as Trump did, as did southern con men, that tell the evangelical types what they want to hear they'll empty their pockets for you. Blind faith is their forte.
