I do not have a credibility issue on the board. Aside from frankfooter (in a thread on Israel of all things
), I have never been called a liar and have never been proven to be a liar. I have never been afraid to own up to mistakes in things I've stated and people may take issue with some of my opinions or style, but those are much different than being a liar.To be honest, IMO, your issue is that we've had heated debates and the animosity has built up in you. My resources are not unlimited and my 1st obligation is to my children who live in a very expensive city. I want to be able to help them the same as my father helped me. She always knew that this was my priority.
As well, it wasn't "suddenly". She was told what was going to happen well in advance. Paying for some big ticket items kinda sped things up.
As well, being willing to see me with no allowance puts her declarations of love to the test.
