Remember when Paul from IT started a thread like this a while back about how everyone came-up with their handles? I loved reading everyones' story and with so many new members amongst us I thought it might be fun.

Sargeant StiffCock was born when I was sitting in the office one day and a co-worker was talking on the phone to his buddy about this guy who they had nicknamed SSC. I was actually looking for a name to register on TERB with at that moment. The name fit me(the second part anyway) so I took it

gramage was juts something a guy I used to work with started calling me for no real reason. My name is Graham and he got bored with calling me that so he desided that my new name was gramage. Eventually a bunch of other people there also started calling me gramage, so when I had to think up handles gramage made sense.

Easy for me, I am a Private Investigator, so Private Dick came pretty easy!

The Squatting was the hard part.

Four years ago I discovered that my Chinese Horoscope sign was the Tiger (as 1998 was also the year of the Tiger). And I was reading my actual horoscope while sitting on the "throne". When Shhhhhazam! It hit me like a load of bricks. I will for ever after be known to my internet brethren and sistren as Squatting Tiger.

Really though, it's from one of my favorite movies of the recent past, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. One of the best mainstream kung-fu movie ever made.

Mine came when I had an appointment at Allure with Brandy.
When the receptionist asked for my name the only thing that came to mind was Henry (I just heard a news item in the car about prince Henry).

Anyway when Brandy came she exclaimed a couple of times Ohhhh, ohhhh, ohhhh...Henrieee!

So when I reviewed her later I became Oh_Henry. My previous handle had been Happy Dick and before that Cunning Linguist.

Actually this name did not originate from the most obvious source... yes I love DATY, but I had a girlfriend in college who was a bit of a prude. She couldnt say pussy... called it her "monkey" or her "cookie". Couldnt say cock or dick, it was my "thingie"... you get the idea.

One night her roommate was making fun of how butch the girls' basketball team looked... accused them of being a bunch of rug munchers... and my girlfriend got all offended and said....

"... couldnt you at least call them muffin munchers?"

I use to call myself Man with Canon because I am an amature photographer. The "Canon" as in the camera company.

One day I realized that many people have been misunderstanding the meaning of the name.
So, I changed it to MWC.

Beside, I don't want to brag...

My name came from the way my sis in law was razzing me. when i first started coming to Canada for the xmas holidays i would tell her i think i'll do the polar bear dip when the time came i would say ah maybe next year and she would call me a wimp. i finnally got tired of it and one year i fiinally went and did it . she told me hey your not a wimp anymore now your a fucking idiot. ive been doing it now for the last 10 years and i think its a great way to start off the new year. the only bad thing about it is if i have too pee when i get out i have to sit down, but its for a good cause. now on new years day she has to adress me as mrpolarbear.
