when you maga people will get a cancer go see Fox and Joe. they know everything.

that will free up doctors for us.
Joe Rogan, he comes across as really gullible. He could have someone come on the show claiming that sticking a potato up your ass will cure Alien Space Herpes and he would be like. Wow and so impressed.
I've seem people on his show spin such obvious bullshit and he eats it up.

the obvious conclusion is a huge number of flu deaths were reported as Covid deaths.
So you are saying we had a deadly Flu pandemic and not Covid?
Yikes!
Well glad we had social distancing, lockdowns and mask mandates to help protect people!
Hope you got your regular flu shots.

Yeah, it's almost like social distancing reduces the spread of respiratory disease especially ones with a lower transmission rate? Who would have thunk it.
social distancing reduced the flu bug while covid infections soared at the same time ????????
call me skeptical
there was mis-diagnosis ,
in retrospect, not totally unexpected given covid was supposedly a brand new condition and the hype / panic that surrounded it.

I have tons of respect for doctors as they save lives and reduce suffering but they are not infallible
They are almost as susceptible to group think as the rest of the population, and were overwhelmed with panic driven calls / visits and many doctors take guidance from public health officials as gospel.

extensive autopsy's were not completed on deceased labelled as ''from covid'' so we shall likely never know

please show me where I said covid did not exist ?
please show me where I said covid was instead a deadly Flu pandemic ?

you attempted to attribute 'mis-information '' using a very precise conclusion of "less than 1%"
So the final statistic ended up being <1%.
Such precision is not at all justified given the unexplained dramatic decline in flu deaths and the obvious mis-diagnosis.

your assumption to increase a published value by 451% and claim "it makes only a tiny difference" was comical and makes your use of precision a self induced mockery

the source of a lot of misinformation by many is very likely assigning far too much confidence into what they believe without thinking carefully

This video seems like disinformation.
During Trump's presidency the mortality rate was indeed 3% or more.
Also the Beta variant was the most deadly and that was reported in July 2020.
All of this before the vaccine.
After the vaccine this dropped.
The subsequent variants were also much less deadly as well.
So the final statistic ended up being <1%.
It wasn't the social distancing it wasn't the vaccine and it wasn't the lockdowns...it was a pandemic. of course over the course of time the rate will go down...that's how pandemic happens...

Permitting the injection of any substance into ones bloodstream must be a personal choice.
you can not undo that.
I personally accept the risks of flu injections as very low given the long history of flu vaccinations

The development cycle of injectable medicines is quite lengthy, generally about 10 years, so I was concerned with how quickly a covid vaccine became available, even more concerned when there was ambiguity over which brand was effective and fucked up China deals by the govt.
The vaccines were fast-tracked through the regulatory process.

What was most appalling was the nasty backlash from the woksters received by anyone who did not comply

I guess "My body, my choice" can be applied selectively, when it is convenient

Even the great Mr. Fauci admitted there was no basis for 6ft social distancing...lol
Yes no scientific basis.
It was just common sense.
Stay away from someone who is sick.
Would you rather prefer to sit close and breathe in each other's faces? lol

It was all of those things.
Lockdowns, masking, social distancing reduced incidence.
Vaccines provided herd immunity.
Initial variants, particularly Beta, killed a lot of the vulnerable ones.
Subsequently, weaker variants combined with COVID measures reduced death rates.

You said the "obvious" conclusion was that the Flu numbers were misreported as Covid.
There were 1.2M recorded deaths due to COVID in the US.
Which amounted to 1-1.5% of the diagnosed and reported COVID cases. (Mind you many millions were undiagnosed because they did not get official testing done).
According to you Flu numbers were massively misreported as Covid.
So the obvious conclusion from your statement is that if they were not due to COVID, they were due to the Flu.
So pick your pandemic before you engage in your mental gymnastics.
Alternatively, how would you explain 1.2M deaths?
As usual you fail to make any sense at all.

guess what, despite "social distancing" "mask mandates" and lockdowns...people still got infected...there was no actual research that it worked...common sense is not advocating fear to the populace and tell them to stay home if you have symptoms. lockdowns are unnecessary and let the people decide if they want the vaccine or not.

MRNA vaccines have been in research for the last 50 years.
MRNA vaccines were not the only vaccines either.
Many COVID vaccines were vector vaccines, and vector vaccines have been around for decades.
It was completely your personal choice to get the vaccine.
But if your personal choice was going to harm someone else, then we have a problem.
Hence why many organizations, especially one where you'd come into contact with vulnerable people required their employees to get the vaccine, or quit.
I say in a pandemic it is fair to do that.

Yes of course they will get infected.
Social distancing, masking and lockdowns don't reduce the infection to 0.
But they significantly reduced infections which would have otherwise ballooned and put an even bigger strain on the healthcare system that is not designed to handle such things.

And when you have two respected people like the ones I mentioned above, Jay Bhattacharya and Dr. Aseem Malhotra (oh shit, they're both Indian too, I should hate them right?) questioning the numbers, I'm not so sure it's a conspiracy theory when it comes to the vaccines and COVID.

For every 1 doctor that is "just asking questions", you could come up with 10, that call BS on it.

people who wore mask and social distance still got infected... there was no scientific basis it will work...treating symptoms was the way to go. fear mongering put people in panic mode...
