This video seems like disinformation.
During Trump's presidency the mortality rate was indeed 3% or more.
Also the Beta variant was the most deadly and that was reported in July 2020.
All of this before the vaccine.
After the vaccine this dropped.
The subsequent variants were also much less deadly as well.
So the final statistic ended up being <1%.

Both numbers can be accurate, depending on when the data was reported. At the onset of the pandemic, there were reports of bodies being stored in refrigerated trucks behind hospitals. Nurses also came forward with claims that some hospitals were hastening patients' deaths. Early in the pandemic, there may have been a spike in fatalities due to the lack of effective treatments. Many patients were reportedly kept on ventilators for extended periods, which caused their airways to dry out and led to severe breathing difficulties.

Every reliable data source proves the vaccine was effective.
About lockdowns and masking, I dont blame them.
Its was the common sense thing to do back then.
If there is a different pandemic today, you bet they will do the exact same thing.

No wonder she was pushing this conspiracy theory.

And when you have two respected people like the ones I mentioned above, Jay Bhattacharya and Dr. Aseem Malhotra (oh shit, they're both Indian too, I should hate them right?) questioning the numbers, I'm not so sure it's a conspiracy theory when it comes to the vaccines and COVID.

odd how flu deaths dropped like a rock (to perhaps historic lows) just around the same time as covid deaths peaked out
If you assume the same number of Flu deaths as 2018, and assume they miscounted, even then it makes only a tiny difference.
The US had 1.2M Covid deaths.
Could also be explained by the measures taken for Covid reducing Flu incidences as well.
