The reality is the right has pushed the centre so far to the their side that people who were considered centrists (including republicans and conservatives of good standing) are now called RINOs for not toeing the new extremes. They did it through culture war bullshit, and lamenting that the MSM didn’t cover their stupid, trumped up outrage of crimes or other scandals (like Obama wearing a fucking TAN suit).
