I've never doubted Junior and neither do the tres muchachos.

I'll say this about Giancarlo Stanton, had he not spent so much time working out with his good friend Rocco, he probably would have reached 500+ homers by now.

Some comments;

"Thank you. Your assessment isn't pessimistic; it's grounded in facts and data. I suspected a timeline like this and am prepared for news that Bichette just may well be done for the season. Great if he's back late October (should we get that far), but I think it's doubtful. He has to look at the long term, and that may very reasonably rule him out"

"He won't be back this year. He's also a pending free agent so he won't risk further injury"

"Absolutely agree. However, it could also be that he's not returning because he doesn't trust the knee is fully healed and not be able to play short stop which may also decrease his market value."

Blue Jays just teeing off on Yankee pitching...Didn't see that coming to be honest. And this is without Bichette.

Jays dominated then all year but NY was coming into this showdown playing it's best ball of the year.

Reading the fan posts on the Yankee forum sites now...They're pissed big time, lol'

Here's a good one..'' Another double digit strike out performance (15). At what point do the Yankees realize HR/K/BB formula doesn't work in playoffs? '''

The poster has a good point.

Anyways it's not over but it sure feels like it is...I am happy for Toronto and Canadian baseball though.

That was scary after they removed Yesavage, they kept coming back. I think they should've left him in for another inning
Thank goodness they got the lead that they did. Pulling a kid 22 year-old with 11 strikeouts in 5.1 without giving up a hit… I don't agree with that. I understand the bullpen needing to get work. I get all that. But I really do think Schneider overthinks things in the playoffs. Sometimes he just touches things a little too much. After the last two playoff appearances, and some of the bonehead moves he made you would think he would be a little more careful now..... I understand it's hard to argue with a manager that finished first in the American League east, but I don't agree with that move. At least let the kid go until he gives up his first hit. This is a best three out of five series and you're almost up two games to none heading to New York with home-field advantage for a game five if possible. This is not the time to start farting around by giving people playing time. He is managing that game like this is High Park house league.

Imagine if that move lost the game?

I was thinking he pulled him to save his arm for the future games. Not to give the bullpen a workout.

But yeah, another inning likely wouldn't have hurt the arm of a 22 year old. He is hot stuff, and on fire for sure! Was so nice to see his shy smile break out when he finished pitching. He knew he did a good job. That's a lot of pressure for a 22 year old!

Schmeider pulled Trey after one batter in the 6 so Trey could get the applause. Classy.

The way the relievers gave up runs is of concern. I gives Yanks momentum and gives our bullpen the shivers

next two games are Bieber then relief staff who melted tonight

Still it is time to soak this in . 30 runs in 3 games Trey pitching like nobody ever has and total wipeout of Yanks two games in a row

Amazing is the only word

After yanks it gets easier on paper until the big show
