I would rather see the Jays fall off the map this month, so that they're sellers rather than buyers at the deadline. If they go 'all in' at the end of this month, they have the potential to possibly win a Wild Card berth, and perhaps get their first post season win in about ten years. This will only extend the rebuild.

I think they could get some good value for their expiring contracts, (Bichette, Scherzer, Bassit), and they may be able to pawn Springer and Gausman's last years onto somebody else - both are signed through 2026. If they don't, more than half of the 2026 budget will be eaten by the contracts of Guererro, Santander, Giminez, Kirk, Springer and Gausman and Hoffman, with a ton of holes to fill.

They aren't real contenders this year; they're a middle of the pack team on a hot streak. It's like when a midfield driver is leading an F1 race because all of the better cars have already made their pit stop.

Rogers, as always, has the 'We'll worry about that later" approach, delaying the inevitable for as long as possible.

What a stupid thought^^^

You got a team that's in a playoff spot with a shot at winning their division, they're only a game out. But this guy would rather see them tank so they can start the rebuild early and for what, maybe a chance to win the division or being in a playoff hunt farther down the road, my God they're in a playoff hunt and a chance win the division right now. Why would you tank?

Yankees fan sites are exploding.

The pinstripes have a major problem that they cannot fix. Aaron Judge is a gentleman, he has no Billy Martin within him. Two years ago Judge hit a single, as the ball was brought in to play Vlady gave him a nuts slap. So far Judge hasn't retaliated. The only player I've seen give Vlady a nuts slap was Carlos Santana.

I didn't share that with Yankees fans.

As a lifelong Yankee fan I can confidently say that this series sucks dog balls so far.

Blue Jays showing a lot of heart these last three games...Fans are getting their monies worth.

Speaking of the Jays I see a former pitcher of theirs is having a career year
