There were 2 elections since 2015 and Trudeau didn't win the largest vote share of any party, that was the PCs. That said, the Liberals continue to shed more voters and are doomed even if they push out the elections as far as they can, which will need to happen next year sometime. The world is rejecting the left, as will Canada, mostly since the left doesn't know where to stop, and just keeps moving further and further left, such as allowing pre-teens to have trans surgery, long before they can make a life changing decision. If they would just keep closer to center most things are reasonable, but course correction is needed since they have lost their minds.
But the fact is that BC is not the only Province that elected a non Conservative Government like you alleged in the first place!!
Not true to state that the world are moving "away" from the left when countries like the UK, Brazil and Australia moved away from the right!!
The fact is that because of the Global inflation rates, supply chain disruptions from the pandemic, they all blamed their Governments for it., though we all know in our heart of hearts there is very little that a Government can do to offset the impact. Trudeau did win the 2015 election with a huge majority, especially when they were trailing even behind the NDP prior to the campaign!!
If the economy does pick up next year with inflation under control and there is a battle with the Trade Wars that the Canadian Government's popularity rises like it did with the USMCA negotiations, then the polls could start shifting. Not true to say that the Governments have gone more left, as that is just a perception from the far right online media. In fact the Conservatives like the Republicans are moving more far right, with reversing decades of abortion bans, more discrimination against trans and other bans that could include escorts and even this Board, like they threatened prior to the 2015 elections. By the way in Canada those trans surgeries are with full parental consent, but abortions being banned in the USA even though it involves rape and incest...........really?
