The DNC fucked over Bernie Sanders for Hillary in 2016.
He would have defeated Trump the 1st time imo.
A left wing populist vs a right wing populist.

That's interesting because some major corporations are behind the major networks. However, they seem to be influenced by the politics of the executives rather than the interest of the true shareholders.
Mainstream media seems to operate within some boundaries of fairness, but increasingly during the Trump years that was less and less.
If the Democrats had focused on people rather than devoting most of their energy, money and attention to persecuting Trump, the people may have very well voted Harris in.
Fact is, they devoted most of their time trying to convince people how "bad" Trump was while many struggled.
Virtue signaling, late night talk show laughs, wokeness, race cards, DEI distractions, lawfare, youth indoctrination and everything else they peddled ultimately failed on all fronts.
Let Trump and his administration govern without sabotage, and let's see what he succeeds and fails at and then make decision when it's time for the next election. That's how democracy works.

The Democrats would call it an infrastructure and jobs bill. They might even say it's inflation reduction.
I think Trump is unpredictable and Kamala was the wrong choice , Dems screwed up .

I think it's very likely any Democrat would have lost this election. Contrary to what we were being force fed, I don't think the Biden Presidency was all that successful.
Some here have defined it as passing legislation (narrowly of course). Legislation isn't really successful if you can't win re-election. Trump will have the same standard.
Disney would likely throw in some amusement park passes with ABC as well.
I know some people who have worked in the mainstream media outlets and would tell me through the years how they would be told to bury a story or spin it a particular way. These decisions often came down from whoever was above and filtered down to editors and program directors. They just went with it for fear of being fired.
They were never told to outright lie because that could lead to libel/slander lawsuits. They were always told to verify stories before going to air or to make it clear that verification was pending.
So to some extent, mainstream outlets have more to lose if they lie and if their reputation gets tarnished then that leads to sponsors pulling away, etc.
A youtuber may have less to lose and most likely won't attract the same legal attention that a larger outlet would. But at the same time, they would be more free to express their opinions without fear of management reprisals.
Better question is will liberals in Canada continue to compare Poilievre to Trump (as they've been doing over the past few years), seeing the results south of the border?
They may need some new tactics.
