Maybe they haven’t experienced what is their worst that can happen, then (sadly for them ) they will adjust. Also dependent on if it’s independent or agency. And dependent on communication between all parties.

This board is not a true reflection of the industry. People need to stop thinking that TERB is the “industry”. It is not. TERB makes up maybe 10% of the hobbying community. Most of my clients haven’t even heard of TERB
TERB is more about agencies then indies and agencies accept text apps. So you have a majority of guys on a site with agencies that accept the apps. I would say 2/3s of this board members who hobby, use agencies and the poll reflects 2/3 of the results use apps. Makes total sense.
I have never accepted a text app and have had a successful career. Many indies do and most indies do screen. It is just not reflected on TERB because TERB is mostly agencies guys.
So when you understand the dynamics- the poll makes total sense but it is not a reflection of the true hobbying community
I can only speak for myself but I've never admitted to a lady I've booked I'm on Terb. I've had some bring it up on their phone to show me what it is and I had one young lady recently show me how to create a handle. Post for about a month to get some credibility and then if I wouldn't mind give her a review. LOL
Oh I know there are a lot of guys that don’t admit it but I still stand by my statement.
Remember - I toured Ontario for 3 years. TERB is not known by many out in Barrie, Kingston, Kitchener, etc.
You guys - and I mean no offence - but a lot of you seem to think that TERB represents the industry as a whole and that Toronto is the end all of the world. I get it because the rest is out of sight and out of mind, but my experience has taken me all over and while I know guys will lie about TERB that is still only a fraction of the guys who say no because most truly don’t know.
No offense taken. I can see out-of-towners not relying on Terb as there is not a lot of info available for those areas. Although many lurkers do not post or speak about it but take in the information. My guess would be more users of agencies than indies will be here. The guys after the Indies and again, I'm only guessing are more likely to scour Twitter and Leolist.
I'm new to all this - Only reason I found TERB is because I Googled some questions and it pops up. This and Reddit seem to be the only place where people chat about this stuff and Reddit seems to be USA mainly. I like that SPs also chat on here as its nice to get their perspective.

I truly mean no offence by this, but I would be very surprised that, in this day and age, that a vast majority of guys who book escorts mostly through the internet, have not come across TERB or at least other review sites. People check out reviews of every product / service they buy, I would expect escort services are the same. I would think that if very few guys appear to be aware of review sites, many (most) are not disclosing it or playing dumb/ lying about it, when it is brought up. Tho I absolutely realize I am not at all an expert in this area and may be completely wrong, but

I've been in this industry a decade, and when I was a BBW perb, terb and merb were essentially useless to me, even now that I am of average size, terb is still not a lot of my clientele, and usually when they book I know they are from terb because I mostly only get booking from terbs when I offer a lower rate. My rate is high to attract mostly American clients, but when I have more free time to take shorter bookings I'll make a promo rate on terb to catch the volume from here. When I do get bookings from here, it usually is people who do not post, so these polls are not indicative of my clientele at the least.
Agree with you, there are a lot of people here who don’t post, and an only tiny minority that participate in polls, so agree it’s not a very representative sample.
