Im not really sure how my post has anything to do with girls posting no black guys.

This thread has absolutely nothing to do with that. Like genesis said " This is not a race issue so stop making it one ".

This is about text apps and who use it .

If we are referring to Tryst advertisers, I completely agree that race doesn’t factor into text app refusal; but, if we are referring to LL it takes a lot of mental gymnastics to think “no blacks” is not part of the equation. It isn’t common to see “no blacks” screening on Tryst. You can’t ignore this fact.

I think if an independent SP wants to be safer, she needs to stop swimming in the LL cesspool and stick to Tryst. Business will be slower at first but over the years it will pick up. Remember, predators always go for the most vulnerable prey.

This thread is about text apps and how many people use them to book.

It has nothing to do with race at all. Also , most girls who say no text apps dont do it just for a certain race. When a girl says " no text apps " it means no text apps for everybody. Period. Race has nothing to do with it.

Also where or how a lady advertises is completely her choice. There are tons of well reviewed girls who still post on leolist . They may not post as frequently but they are there.

The issue is more about security, where the text apps provide anonymity. Burglars can use them to make bookings, arrive and rob the girls or worse assault them. It's a big risk for them. I use a text app myself and if an agency or girl refuse my bookings then I completely understand. But my privacy is also important.
Maybe agencies should vouch/reference check for clients with other agencies, some of the asian shops do that. They will vouch for you as a good customer when asked by another agency, as long as you keep the same text app number.

Seems like people really like text apps just for the simple reason of privacy.

I think it can be a double standard because there are some girls who use text apps that dont book text apps. Does that make her a hypocrite or wrong for not allowing text apps but using one herself?

Perhaps: A man who is craving sex is more likely to get out of control with the texting and forget discretion or general texting guidelines or ignore boundaries. This is one point of view and not meant to be a blanket statement for all men.

The way the texts are delivered. Delay In response. Can’t sent photos or links properly. The colour of the text box if using an iPhone. Formatting.

This actually does happen where guys get carried away with texting. Unfortunately majority of time wasters or endless texters are guys who use text apps.

LOL ! I definetly understand why guys use text apps. According to this poll they are very popular among hobbyists. Ive heard of girls making exceptions to the rule if it is a slow day or if the client is very polite. I think it just depends on the SP.

Many guys are not carrying two phones though. The chances of it being a burner are like 10:1 easy if not more.

Most guys are not going as far as paying a homeless dude and if so, then what can a girl really do? No one has said this profession doesn’t come with risk but we can mitigate as much as we can. And saying no to text apps is a start. Guys are going to go with what is easiest. Want to harass a girl or waste her time - use a text app. When she ignored you, burn the number, get a new one and start again with the same girl.

I search every number that comes in before I answer the text. Every single one and I will just not bother with someone from a text app. It saves me so much time and energy.

Really all you are doing is advocating for more screening, ID, work reference, etc. though. No one is saying one is safer than the other. We are just saying we lower the risk of time wasters, no shows and potentially a violent person as posted in this thread. Could this guy have used a burner? Sure. But it was probably easier to use an app.


And FYI - he change the app number a few times as he assault a couple of women. It was just easier for him to use an app over going and getting a burner and new SIM once blacklisted all over the place.

Dumbest argument I've ever heard. A very small, next to nothing %, portion of clients would jump through all the hoops to do that. Small enough of a % for companions not to change their approach or view of text apps.

Yup I see both sides - and i see how easy it is to use a text app and change numbers - mysudo app allows me to change all the time. I can have seperate numbers for selling on kiji etc. So yeah I get it makes sense to do that to lower the risk. Although that kicks me out of play because I only have a mysudo number.

My comment was mainly based on the fact thats theres also a pretty active conversation on this same forum where members recommend everyone get a burner phone to maintain their privacy. Or not even burner phones - some were talking about putting a second sim in their regular phone so you dont even need to carry two.

I find it interesting that those same conversations are going on at the same time is all.

BTW I wouldnt even need to buy a burner phone - just a sim - I have a drawer right now with 4 old phones in it. All work well but the version of android is so old that most of the apps dont work so we upgraded. Also I got one the other day - a samsung from value village for $40. Not many hoops required to get one of these things thrown in the back of the car "for emergencies only"

Privacy concerns in most cases suggest lack of trust - if you go with someone well reviewed & you're a normal person, then there should be zero concerns here. That said, if you're a terrible client, then yeah you should be concerned about your privacy in which case companions will have already filtered you out for using a text app.

Now if you have an SO, I can understand having another phone. But in that instance it has nothing to do with the companion but rather the need to conceal all forms of communication. Even in such a case, I'm sure if you communicated it to the companion, they would likely adjust their approach.

Lastly, your example about thrift store & sim cards is still complicated AF for most. For context, I'm in my mid 30s & tech savvy. Couldn't be bothered and at the end of the day, there's no point/upside on the client side.

Fair enough all valid points. And its interesting to hear that providers dont like to receive calls from text apps.

But 61% of survey responders say they book providers using a text app. So I guess most SPs still dont screen.
