Are you this combative and argumentative in person? I'm pretty sure this industry isn't really what you ought to be doing...

why does the changes terb makes have people make a thread about it. isnt there anything else you can talk about. instead of posting the improvements or changes terb chooses to make.

Since it affects all who use the site. Some changes may need to be made. We are members of the site that changes were made from. I have seen thread that are completely stupid but this is not one of them.

i wish I had your self-control. Wait a minute is commenting on people who comment on trite terb changes, more or less trite than the thread itself?
According to Riley, probably. But this is just my opinion.

Riley... that`s a little harsh.

It`s in the Lounge and if people think it`s a stupid... then simply don`t click on the link. If Fred eliminated all the mindless threads... the board would have 80% of the content eliminated. :p

You`ve started a couple threads that fit into the exact same category. Here`s one that you could have simply contacted Fred directly to talk about as a paid advertiser.

It is Riley`s world didn`t you know. She can do or say whatever she wants and we all have to bow to her.

Hello??? Are those people not called on it as well. Do you foget how many went to bat for you and noir in the Mao thread. Myself included.

calloway said:
Riley.. are you enjoying your time on Terb?

I`m not trying to be harsh... I just don`t understand people who have double standards.
Again this Riley world. Do as I say, not as I do.

Riley. Good luck.
Don`t waste your time. She won`t get it.

Agree 100%...let`s talk about the problem you`re having with your pictures...
Please don`t point her back to that over dramatic bullshit. I can only take some much Riley in a day. Honestly I can`t wait for the next couple of months when she goes back to hating men, hating the industry and takes off again.

So am I being a little hard on Riley lately - ya. But I don`t care. This double standard, miss-piss, holier than thou attitude all wrapped up with overdramatic and incorrect finger pointing and more then less accurate posts.... it bugs me.

Honestly a disclaimer is a good idea and well worth it. Since a lot of search engines now demand them on adult oriented web sites pornography or not. Search engines like yahoo and Google have become extremely picky as to what type of content is on a web site.

Google for instance: Give a web site that harbors adult related text content and images, a lower (pr ranking) over all if their found not to be warning page on a site. Nor, will yahoo even allow one to promote their web site.

This also help with by passing certain search engines new policies and rules that may hinder a site with a adult related content and subject matter from being able to promote on the net at all.

Honestly the big three: Google adword, Yahoo marketing and Msn ad center are pretty much the big boys on the net currently and most everyone else is feeding off them. So having a warning page is a good idea.

I did not find the grammar all that bad, but hope this helps.

Nope. I am still having fun putting my own agreements in there. The latest one I agreed to was "Terb hereby contracts to provide fuji an annual $1,000,000 fund for booking escorts providing that fuji posts a review of at least one escort every ten years. You are contractually bound to these terms if you click on 'I agree' below, and terb is contractually bound to these terms if it then permits you to access the site."

I prefer to remain anonymous so mods please send me the money electronically. PM me for details of a paypal account to which you can deposit the funds.

Don't know what's all the fuss is about, this is quite standard practice in a lot of other websites, legal jargon, should have been done much earlier than now.

You're kidding right? Spelling errors can make a contract null and void??? Not based on my experience, I now even get nailed when I challenge a speeding ticket when they spell my name wrong, in the old days I use to win this all the time, not today.

Thats an automatic win, even in today's world. You are not charged if it is not your name on the ticket. If that was the case you could be summoned to court for other people's infractions and be told, "No, the fact it is not your name does not matter"

thats ridiculous.

It's not ridiculous - it's par for the course. If it's a simple spelling mistake (eg Stroumboulopoulos missing a u or two) but other information is correct such as your DL# or DOB, then it's totally up to the judge, who will rarely toss the case over it. After all, he knows how his salary is getting paid...

I will admit number 4 does bother me quite a bit.I clear my cache and delete my history everytime I log out however this is a shared computer.I turn on my Google filter(explicit filter) whenever I'm not surfing."Effective method" has a very wide stroke to it.So does "instituted.".I have a 16 and 17 year old.I'd hate to think this could be used against me in the future. If so I'll have to look into another system or go "Terbless"
I doubt that you need to worry, unless it's for your own peace of mind. AFAIK these types of disclaimers have many times been demonstrated to be not worth the pixels they're printed with. The legal beagles insist on them in order to 'mitigate' any possible damages, but no 'user' has ever been successfully prosecuted over them.

It's a 'CYA' for the website owner/operators and that's all it is.

I'm afraid you are mistaken, that's the old school, not anymore. Read the post by Oddsox, he's dead on with respect to a couple of wrong letters in your name or address and everything is right, judges don't dismiss those any longer. I use a experienced paralegal to fight all my tickets, it's his job to stay on top of this and he confirms this.

Simple Riley: "Curiosity killed the cat, but the cat died satisfied." As elementary as that.

Very embarassing. Errors in what is supposed to be a contract can nullify it entirely.
As a general statement it entirely depends on what type errors. In plain English, are they errors which actually effect the contract (such as the quantity or quality or what, where and when) or simple spelling or gramatical errors which to not affect the contract itself ("there" instead of "their") courts have the power to correct such mistakes in contracts and they often do.

This is not to say there is any excuse for a poorly drafted or proofread professionaly drawn up contract but a imagine what the world would be like if a self drafted contract otherwise perfectly clear in its details could be rendered invaild because you misspelled one word on page five!

Where is the String Group for the wedding? Oh they decided they didn't need to honour the contract because violin was misspelled "violyn" one time on page three where it said the violin players will get a water as well as coffee on their breaks.
