I wonder if they fixed the major slowdowns after the stroke of midnight? It's like terb turns into a pumpkin. Very frustrating and hope it's fixed.

Seriously...3 years of struggling with both forum runner and the full site and now you tell us this :frusty: This version is way better then forum runner and the search works. The only bad thing about this version is that peoples profile pics still show up and not the best thing for colleagues to see over soulder, in public or when you're having family dinner thats going south.

Is there a way to turn it completely off and just have text? This is where forum runner shines.

Just try to avoid surfing the site in the presence of colleagues or in public or when you're having family dinner.

The only thing that remains visible are Profile pics. There doesn't seem to be a way to turn them off.

Default mobile style still uses the browser to enter text which is nowhere as easy as with a dedicated app.

Before this 'move', I was never automatically logged out/off after a period of inactivity. Now I do have to log back in after a period of inactivity. Other than that, it's all good.

Yup. Gimme my Forum Runner hook up, please.

If reestablishing the Forum Runner connection is out of the question, please let us know so we can figure things out. But until that's definitively stated, I'm going to be waiting on its return.

I'm not saying this as a threat (I'm sure nobody really cares - it's an anonymous message board), but the Forum Runner connection was a factor in choosing this message board over some others. The ease of access while on the move, compared to the much clunkier browser interface, just made reading/responding via mobile a much better experience. That, and Android has some apps that allow you to lock specific (other) apps, which meant I could hand my phone over to other people without fearing they'd accidentally find my TERB activity on my internet browser.

Separate email, forum viewer, and social media apps for my hobbying activity, that I can lock access to, just makes life a little more secure.

New TERB is really really really slow.

Apologies if this has been mentioned by another member but new TERB is so slow it would take me 2 days to read all the posts on this thread.

Personally I don't care if it's Forum Runner or Taptalk....pick one that works, but really do prefer a mobile app!!
