it's certainly not the same as meesh said and really the word censor makes it suck you can't even say damn
you mean like..."Silent Hill" creepy?
or like..."everybody watching you" creepy?
or like..."the giant man-eating spider escaped Area 51" creepy?
or like..."there's a serial killer on the loose in your neighborhood" creepy?
or like..."you have a feeling there's a stalker lurking in your bushes" creepy?
There's all kinds of creepy. Be a little more specific.
Can't get any more specific, I didn't note the time or date.
Maybe creepy is the wrong term, it just wasn't a social atmosphere but I might have misread the situation if everyone was chatting privately.
Or maybe people thought I was creepy for being a stranger saying "hi". Toronto can be a cold city in that regard. lol
It's not a big deal, I was just giving my impression.
Was I there at the time? I tend to up the creepiness factor wherever I go. It's my calling card.
chat is no where near as good as it used to be. Most people are lurkers now or dont having anything productive to contribute. Other times it is a huge childish immature battle ground. I log in and if there is no one really interesting I leave.
lol - its not just terb chat that is no where near as good as it used to be.
ALL ONLINE CHATS used to be far better 10 years ago. You'd have hot chicks lurking in chats - talking a storm in a room full of guys - pm'ing a hurricane too. They'd be quite the lookers too. All you had to do was be funny, be respectful, be interesting - and all you had to do was say, "hey, wanna meet up sometime?" and VOILA! you had a little coffee date.
and alot of these lookers were quite the freak in the sheets.
and alot of these good looking women actually gave you the time of day - despite the fact that 2000 guys were messaging them simultaneously - and they were respectful and sincere -
nowadays - the most you can get online is "read deleted" - or worse - "unread deleted" receipts from your sent messages on plentyoffish - and then after two or three too many messages, you'd be Blocked from sending her any further messages - when back then - you could at least harass them a little more efficiently - when they ignored you the first 2 times - because they were getting so much male attention - they would finally say "hello, how are you?" and then you had your shot at a really decent looking girl - and could actually get to know her - and try to meet her in person.
But that was the good ol' days. Apparently, nobody regards or respects chat as a way of connecting to people anymore.
There even used to be a program series on television dedicated to people who met in real life - from the web - taking long flights overseas to meet their long distance lovers.
but again - not like that anymore. duno what happened.
but then again, back then - we had better music too. so i duno.
