TERB Charity Poker Tournament

what do you guys think if we had a TERB online poker tournament? There's lots of sites that would allow for free online poker playing. This is how the tournament could go:


-Max 250 members would be allowed to participate (first come first serve)
-It would be free
-The TERB Poker Tournament advertising rights would be auctioned off. Example: 2011 Muse Charity Poker Tourney: Muse your way to a Royal Flush!, 2011 Dreammakers Poker Tournament: Make your dreams come true and win!
-The top 3 poker players would win a free sessions Ie. First Place - Free 1 hour Duo, Second Place - Free 1 hour Session, Third Place - Free HH session or 1 hour session for the price of HH.
-It would create a fun event for the fall since no events are planned.
-A place doesn't have to be rented out cause all of it is done online

I think that Pokerstars is the place with their "homegames" function. Would probably want the advertiser/s to be named before setting up the homegames group. Hopefully its starts at 7:30pm or lands on my "days off" or I won't be able to play.

Maybe part of the incentive to advertise would be their name permanently entrenched as part of the name of the group. The group could easily exist after this event and we terbies could organize little events to play together whenever we wanted. Sounds like great fun.

Fantasia club was going to organize a real-life poker tournament.. I wonder what happened to them (I don't see anything about them at all anymore)

Love online tourneys. Makes it so easy to play three, maybe four hands at the same table and play everyone else for chumps.
