Leylah Fernandez just lost to Ann Li in Spain. Two things I noticed. : Leylah's game has really plateaued. No improvement since her magical Wimbledon run. Still looks cute though. Wish her outfits were not so unflattering.

Correction. I think you mean Leylah's magical US OPEN in 2021 where she lost to Toronto born British player Emma Raducanu in the championship final.

It’s time for another post from me hyping Victoria Mboko. The 18 year old Canadian has made it to the finals of another challenger tournament. She’s already won 5 of them this year. She also qualified for the Italian Open and won her opening match before losing to Coco Gauff, after taking the first set from the #3 player in the world. Almost all of her match wins this year have been against players ranked well ahead of her. I predict that within 2 years she will be Canada’s number one ranked player, ahead of inconsistent Leylah and perpetually injured Bianca.
