But the biggest news in tennis that nobody mentioned is that Gabriel Dialo made it to his first ATP final yesterday. He beat Cerundolo in the semis but lost 6-3 in the final to Kachanov. He has broken the world top 100 for the first time in his career and is sitting at #89.

Iga plays her best tennis when she's not World No.1. Time is still on her side, she's four years younger than Ayrna.

There are tennis clubs in every region of Italy. For the longest time they were places of leisure for rich patrons. Not anymore, most of them now have development programs.

I've been so several, played some tennis, swam in their pools then had a delicious meal. It's been awhile since I've been to Italy, I wonder if the local club has changed?

Why is Andreescu finding it so hard to capture the form that won her the US Open in 2019?
And also 2021 US Open finalist Leylah Fernandez?
or Raducanu...

its so competitive. There is hundreds of other players fighting the same goal as these 3.

Players without head cover at WTA Finals in Riyadh understandable. But ball girls also running around without head cover in a country where all females have to cover their hair. So rules can be changed when sportswashing is the objective

Not fair, Jannik Sinner wins the ATP Finals in Torino. He goes into 2025 with a 2k+ gap going into the AO.

Italy has already won the Billie Jean Cup thanks to the wondrous Jasmine Paolini. Can they repeat as Davis Cup Champions, last year's tournament was start of Sinnner's rise. Berretini was out injured.

Amazing match between Kokkinakis and Berrettini, the Aussies needed to win this - the second match is De Minaur vs Sinner.

Berrettini comes up big against van de Zandschulp 6-4, 6-4. Musetti started out as the No. 2 but lost his match against Cerundolo. Berrettini has been out with injury for most of 2024, he\s never looked sharper. Next match Griekspoor vs Sinner, if he wins Italy retains the Davis Cup.

Italy repeat as Davis Cup Champs. Jannik Sinner has a 73-6 match record for 2024 along with eight titles to his name. Someone suggested that the only way Sinner can lose if he's kidnapped. Greikspoor played very well by slicing on a fast surface, Sinner adjusted with drop shots.
