People who pull up in front of stores, rather than use the parking spots, because their time is more important than everyone else
People who leave shopping carts in parking spaces, rendering the spot unusable for another car.....it blows me away that people do this....if we all did it then that person wouldn't be able to find a spot and how would they feel about that?
The only good news......eventually somewhere, somehow, sometime inconsiderate people get what they deserve.
I pull up to the front of the bank and park - only because the time to find a spot, park, walk, get money, go back and leave would cost me 5X the amount of time. I think when someone parks and is gone for 15 min is wrong. And I wouldn't do this if there was a reasonably distanced space available. Then I'm just lazy.
Similarly, people who leave carts on the curbs instead of returning them. These carts have wheels and move and then hit your parked car. I also think any person who parks so badly you can't park beside them should have their cars keyed. Bunch of assholes who take up two spots
For the most part, I agree that slow people cause a certain amount of frustration to others who like to move quicker.
HOWEVER, I've learned over time not to judge people too quickly. Some slow movers may be moving slowly for reasons beyond their control. Maybe they're just older and not so quick any more. Maybe they have an injury that slows them down. Maybe they are handicapped in some way. Maybe they are on vacation and enjoying their chance to slow down and relax. Maybe (and I see this often) they are just completely oblivious to the fact that there is a world around them trying to go about their business.
Maybe, maybe, maybe, and the list of possibilities goes on and on.
When I encounter some of these examples, I try to be patient and understanding. I also look for an alternate way to get done what I am trying too get done at the speed that suits me.
I also feel fortunate that I'm able to live life at a fairly quick pace. Some people don't have that choice or luxury.
But slowpokes in the left lane while driving really get under my skin.
If you're not passing someone, move the f**k over.
I understand. But it's like the guy driving in the fast lane - move the fuck over. Have you ever tried to pass a group of people who are walking slow and blocking you from passing? No problem with slow as long as you move aside so others can get by - it's basically blockers who are asses.
smell of pot heads on a bus
Smell of pot in general is disgusting. And some people wear horrible perfume/cologne that is an assault on the senses. But this is NOTHING compared to people who have disgusting BO and now you are next to them in the elevator or subway, passing them so you get a whiff, or downwind while working out.
When someone does not scoop after their dog leaves it on my front lawn. When the power goes out. When someone feels the need to parallel park into a space three car lengths big when they could have just driven in thereby holding up traffic (just encountered this on Yonge street). Driving behind a dump truck when a stone comes out and cracks your windshield. Getting a flat tire in the dead of winter on the highway. All levels of government. And related to but not exclusive to government, being lied to. When one of my favourite tv shows is cancelled because of ratings.
Let's not get started on the government and many government employees. Criminals is a better description and it makes no difference what party you are from, what your background is, etc. Most of them should be in jail for the stuff they pull.
People who try to merge onto the highway doing 50-60 kph... especially if I'm behind them. I see this A LOT.
Or you are driving in the lane they are merging into (usually happens because you are getting ready to exit).
• People who come to a dead stop in the middle of the sidewalk or aisle, so that they can peruse their phone. The next time this happens, I may just plow into them on purpose.
• People who use their phone while driving or in the theater, completely oblivious to, or uncaring of, how it affects other people.
• People who bring dozens of items to the express checkout.
The common theme of all this is inconsiderate pricks who are too self-absorbed to understand other people exist.
Lol - I want to do this so badly (run into them). I also want to stop dodging the person that's so focused on their phone that they don't notice me. I dodge out of the way but if they run into me, they will go down. I'm bigger than the average person...
