Before my wife and I got married we had out fun times with places like these, but never went the full way with couples.. I guess it is the rush of seeing other people at it that get both of us (Wifey and I) in the mood for things. We attended Xtabi and Wicked. Wicked was a blast with couples around our ages etc etc. Xtabi was also good meet a few couples and had a good time also.
Anyway.
Xtabi = X Club. It is new owners, and they have moved a little away from a swingers club, towards a dance club. But it is the same location and lots of the same people attending. They have added an on-premises area also.
As far as single guys go, if you are just into sex with women, it is probably not worth it. If being with the guy as well does it for you, go for it.
The best deal for a straight guy is to go with a very attractive, outgoing woman, or several. Then everyone will want to be your buddy. Though if you have several attractive women, you might be better off to just get a room.
If you have been with the same wife for a long time, and you like her, but you both want some variety and excitement, then a swinger club can be great, whether you hookup with another couple or not.
C Dick summed it up quite nicely actually... Pretty good dance club with some wild and crazy stuff happening, and there is the on-premise area in the back as well.

Just for the record, we have been to Wicked, X, M4, OZone and Happy Hedonist many times (we sometimes learn slowly). And to Abstract, Hers, Jade, 2250, Eros and others further in the past.
As far as the back room at X, we have never seen it busy. X was always more of an off-premises, poser (though quite attractive) crowd. We tend to go to the back earlier than some people do, we might go back at midnight. Typically we would be the only ones there, or perhaps there might be one or two other couples. It is a nice setup, though a little chilly for us. It is staffed by three young people, who stay at the front, laugh their asses off, and are oblivious to anything going on in the back. The change room can fit one couple, perhaps three people at most, so if it were busier in the back, the change room would be a bottle neck. The actual setup is pretty good, a long corridor with private rooms and some theme rooms, and a sophisticated open area at the back.

In terms of Ebony and Asian people, most of the main Toronto clubs are pretty pale. Wicked is downtown, with a somewhat more "urban" feel, so it might be the best choice. Kimmies Parties seem to go for a "Mandingo" kind of theme a lot of the time, if you are into that.

Well, most nights a single guy can't get in and the nights they're allowed? They pay a cover of $100.00 or $150.00 something like that. There was all kinds of talk here about Xtabi and on a lot of nights, the place was full of single guys and escorts. When I went there were 12 couples and 11 were escorts......I said "that's kind of retarded, taking an escort to a swingers site. I mean, what are you going to do, swap escorts? Just book the one you want to begin with and save the cover charge"!!!!!

How could you possibly know that eleven of twelve were escorts? Wouldn't you have to be able to recognize every escort in the GTA to know? If you can, it is impressive.
We generally do not go to X on Friday, when the single guys go, but when we go on Saturday, it does not seem that there are lots of escorts. We see many of the same couples there week after week, presumably you would not take the same escort to the same club week after week.
