I actually do embrace Canada's multi culturalism. I have cordial relationships with pretty much everybody except Germans. In my day to day existence I am good terms with Chinese, Indian, Black and Middle Eastern people. I am not Archie Bunker. Canada was a pretty dismal backwater in the 50's. The French Canadians took most of the backlash as they were the perceived enemy. But, back to the original theme of the thread. I can't see that Sweden, or Europe has been improved by badly conceived and executed acceptance of hundreds of thousands of people who have no real interest in becoming Swedish, or British or anything else. Documented that they are simply on an opportunistic land grab that was foisted on their unsuspecting host. The general populace. As for why not other countries, well you immigrate to ones where your life can be better in some way - it could be anything from money, to culture, to safety etc. For me I wanted to live in a liberal culture because I am a liberal, and India is too conservative. Others may have other reasons. People generally come here to improve some aspect of their lives. Immigrating to Yemen, Africa, Iran or Saudi Arabia or even China does not give me anything I am looking for, and if they did, I would have moved there, or atleast tried.
The mistake you are making, based on flawed logic, is to atleast mentally tie your quality of life to the skin colour of people around you and further reinforcing that flawed logic by reading racist, white nationalist, right wing books by racist pseudo-intellectuals. Stop doing that. Enjoy the diversity the world brings you that you are actually lucky to experience, because without that you'd at the very least be eating barely seasoned food.
