Uh oh. Is Greta going to have a nervous breakdown? Her home country is betraying her. It was an unrealistic goal to begin with to appease the climate change activists. No doubt something has to be done but the goals most of these countries set including our own were unrealistic. At least the Swedes were smart enough to see it now

Looks like the car buying population in general isn't buying into the electric car either.

Finally some common sense. Renewable energy cannot just replace nuclear and fossil fuels overnight.

Hope Canada abandons its no ICE vehicles pledge by 2035. Electric vehicles are too expensive, and just not as good as ICE vehicles in terms of convenience.

EV sales appear to be cyclical, oil price dependent?

Emission reduction target date will be more linear than cyclical. At this
time the goal of our climate policy is 50% carbon emission reduction by
2030. The target will likely be reset to 50% reduction by 2200. Meanwhile
climate sheeple are cheering surge in demand of Tesla among world's
virtue signallers while sales of non-EVs are rising in world's most populated
country .

Renewable energy cannot just replace nuclear and fossil fuels. Period
it will not even be close

nuclear might be able to displace a meaningful fraction of fossil fuels ... provided a massive build up of nuclear was started (30 years ago)
the environuts will prevent any significant expansion of nuclear

that will require a change in govt
the Trudeau liberals will not compromise despite what is becoming painfully obvious

Greta? she has cashed in...it's the left brigade I'm worried about because they were led to believe change is coming and we're distancing from fossil fuels (and nuclear)...it is unrealistic....still waiting for @Frankfooter to post some fairytale links to state otherwise...this has been a disaster of a week for the woke left....meanwhile I just pulled a 4lb bass on a weed bed with a topwater mouse the other day....i'd say...it's been a good week...
