I was admiring techguy3838's avatar in his review of M-L, and I have a few technical questions. How do I:

1) Make an animated GIFs from a series of GIF images?

2) Make an animated GIF from an MPG?

3) Make an MPG from a series of images?

I found a free GIF animator at:

This program converts GIF images or AVI movies into animated GIF.

So now my question is:
Does anyone know where I can find a free program to convert MPG to AVI?
