Why should they give a Hoot about the Fan's ? The Air Canada Center is full game after games, cheap players means more profits. Try to pull that stunt in others Canadian Cities. They would really end-up with an empty place within a couple of years. About a year after arriving in TOronto, I remember Pat Quinn tried getting Ohlund from his old team, but the Canuck management didn't bite.
And who knows, maybe Mats will re-sign with the Leafs next year as unrestricted free agent. Before this can happen, must dump either McCrap or Kupina salary
I agree, mcabe & kubina have got to go. There are so many players that you could add to that list though, raycroft, wellwood, steen. The list goes on and on.

Have a hard time understanding this one. THERE IS A SALARY CAP, the leafs are at the salary cap. ...don't you think they would??...yea MSLE is awash in cash...but think about a Cup run...another bunch of home dates.... and the mainia and frensy it would cause..would be unbeleiveable the money they would make..
