Toronto lawyer Azmat Ramal-Shah claimed in a $226 million lawsuit that he was defrauded by his sugar baby and her Aurora parents, who let him spend $20,000 on the University of Ottawa student while she professed her love but told him all kinds of lies not to meet him in person, including an aunt’s funeral, a broken leg and a sudden cancer diagnosis.

According to his almost 150-page claim, the heartsick would-be lover alleged Kirsten Jones, now 25, and her parents, Michael and Colleen Jones, committed “fraud, defamation, interference with his economic interests and intentional infliction of emotional distress,” and despite his master’s degrees from prestigious Duke School of Law and Ivey School of Business, the saga has left him unable to get an appropriate high-paying job.

An Ontario judge wasn’t too sympathetic.

b) communicated with AB in a manner that was uncivil, offensive, discourteous, not in good faith, and otherwise inconsistent with the proper tone of professional communication, including using foul language and making unfounded scandalous allegations, contrary to rules 7.2-1 and 7.2-4 of the Rules;

c) communicated with CD in a manner that was uncivil, offensive, discourteous, not in good faith, and otherwise inconsistent with the proper tone of professional communication, including making uninformed criticism of the competence of CD and unfounded allegations of unethical conduct against CD, contrary to rules 7.2-1 and 7.2-4 of the Rules; and

d) threatened to initiate or pursue criminal charges against AB, should their dispute not settle to his satisfaction, contrary to rule 3.2-5(a) of the Rules.

20 grand without meeting the girl sounds about as stupid as this could possible get, and then you read this and realize that being stupid is the least of this guys many flaws. I don’t think the girl has anything to do with his inability to get a better job, although he does sound perfect for the legal team of a certain ex-POTUS :)

Yes, that guy was crazy.

If anybody does want to see what normal guys are paying, one of the Reddit forms ran a survey, it's worth checking out. Basically Toronto guys are doing PPM for the $300-600 range, none of this $10,000 stuff.

I'm curious to know how other people have experienced sugar dating.
I started doing it right before the pandemic... and I already don't even remember how many girls I've met up with.
I'm almost 50 and they've ranged in age from 20 to 50 with the 50 year old as well as a couple of others not even wanting any money, just a fun time.

I have a feeling that I might be better looking than most because I usually only pay a couple of hundred dollars each time we meet... and I think they like the fact that they can choose who they want to be with so it's not a SP situation.
Yes, it's defiantly a lot of fun, I'm around your age too and yes, I don't know if I could ever go back to escorts as the only option.

There's another tread here about it with a couple of tips: https://terb.cc/xenforo/threads/is-sugar-dating-killing-the-sex-industry.804413

Yeah a lot of the younger generation prefer it and I am getting used to using it for messaging.

The bigger problem for me is explaining to anyone who might be looking why the fuck a guy my age even knows what SnapChat is?

I read a twitter post from an SP the other day on in the same vein. She figured If a middle aged guy suddenly becomes a fan of Lana Del Rey, chances are he‘s banging a young SP. :)

In my case I’ve been turned on to some new music tastes by SB’s I’ve seen, better be careful who sees my playlists too :)
Yes, I knew about SnapChat just from being in IT, but I thought it was dead somewhere in the mid-2010s, then found out that a LOT of younger people are using it instead of stuff like WhatsApp.

Thanks for the link! Yeah I hear you and we’re definitely lucky to have it as an option. I’ve never given more than 300 for a sugar date but usually 200 which is great when there’s a connection and you’re dating a young hottie just like when we were young. And so far they are totally into having fun. A lot more than most SPs. But some SPs are excellent.

Yes, I've had a lot more fun with sugar babies the last few years too - and from the poll on that thread we're not alone :)

I used to get the $100 meet-ups when I started when you could post a "guy looking to help out" on Craigslist, but you can still get better deals once you've seen some of them a few times.

What… that’s soooo cost-effective… back in my student days I used to spend 300 on dinner dates and then 150 on post drinking and the chance of getting laid is like 50/50… using parents money of course.

i thought sugar dating starts at 10K a month…and have to arrange like a condo for the sugar babies to live, so I haven’t bothered thinking about it since.

I keep opening this thread and reading the posts and I think, maybe I will try it.

I find one of the sites, load in a profile, etc., and get contacted almost before I finish the profile. THAT make me personally a little nervous, are some of the profiles on there as "looking" BOTS? Then all these sites are looking for monthly memberships linked to a card.

I end up deleting the profile and deciding to just stick to my regular bookings instead.

Yes, lots of bots, and if you get past the bots the scammers and golddiggers are waiting for ya, save your money and time.

Seeking is 100% legit and I think SDM but the others are sketchy from my experience

I have tried seeking before and I think a lot are bots or fakes. I did meet up with a few girls from seeking and all of them have been good experiences.

I'm actually a little overwhelmed still. I must have about 20 girls in my phone right now and it's so weird that it's so easy to hook up. Like you, I've been so lucky - at least so far. I got a message from a 19 year old yesterday who really wants to meet up - super hot, black hair, 5'4", large C cup/small D, literally a perfect body, in school and has only ever had 2 boyfriends. I can easily get away to meet up but feel like I'm ruining my mental health because it takes over your thoughts, which is why probably SP's are in many ways a better option. But when you know for sure that a young hot girl - yes wants money - but it's real attraction and they totally get horned up. It's hard to beat especially when I don't feel like I have that long left to be wanted that way. She only wants 300 each time we meet. Talk about first world problems but even though they're self-created, they're real and it's a form of addiction I find.

This is such an interesting contemplation:

I wonder if it reflects female freedom (and especially sexual freedom) being far removed from what was once the 1950's coupled with personalities which have not had to know the stigma put upon blatantly obvious sex work by third-party society.

Possibly the SP's of today mostly reached this scenario via lots of life's ups and downs which have them less unbridled than what you describe in reference to their younger, sugarbaby counterparts.

Add to it the economic challenges exacerbated by Covid and the like, and a setting in which a young woman can dial you up for paid sex each time she needs more funding (without, usually, being stigmatized/noticed by the surrounding society).

Tiz possible that Canadian sugarbabies of 2023 are where Japanese high school girls were decades ago (I don't mean Tokyo).

Well this is a good point ... about "not having long left to be wanted that way." And if you have an SO you may be watching that clock tick and keep wondering how long your body will hold up in its present state. Then we have those increasingly occurring health scares that make us wonder that even more. It really puts carpe diem at the forefront of everything.

One fall on the pavement could change the way you pound forever!

Anyone else struggling with the SB websites?
I live outside the GTA so there are fewer potential SBs where I am.
I previously had success with SA but there only seems to be a handful of members that are active in my area. If they haven't logged in for several days, I don't bother messaging them. So I am unsure about investing more than $100 in a monthly membership. I know it's not a lot in the overall scheme of having an SB, but I don't like wasting money.
On the other hand, Secret Benefits seems to have more members. But many of the accounts appear to be fake or bots. A young woman will message you and you never hear from them again - even though it appears that they are online. I have met one or two women from Secret Benefits but I resent buying a bunch of credits and wasting them on fake profiles.

In my opinion sugar dating sites are not really worth if your looking for girls outside a major metropolitan area. Most of the legit girls on the sites who are actually hot live in major cities like Toronto and are looking for an SD to finance part if their lifestyle.
